Now, of course, I have absolutely no idea about the etiquette of doing anything social with anyone my age... honestly. But I digress. This year they were on my back to do everything perfectly in school. I got a report card of all B's and A's, except for a C in Algebra I. (My mom only taught me through 7th grade math, and for reasons unknown to me she thought that repeating the fundamentals of math was the most important thing in the world.) I got grounded for three months. This year, I decided just to stop trying at it to piss off my parents. :\ Finished with a 2.3 GPA this year. :thumbsup: If I got suspended at school, I'm sure I would be frigging killed by my parents. I would've been a few times this year, at least, if I'd fought all the kids that wanted to fight me. Also, last year, I was messing around with my (fraternal) triplet brother, and accidentally chipped two of his teeth (and knocked out two more) in the fight. Of course, I felt amazingly guilty about that, and still feel guilty about it. Now every dime I get from a job goes towards $10,000 that we're going to use next year so that he can get his teeth completely fixed up. You got grounded 3 months for getting C???????? LOL. my brother was playing with a candle and it accidentally leaked into the bed. after a few minutes, the fire was tremendous and it was all over the left side of the bed. it took about 30 minutes to completely wash off and clean everything and after that, my mom got pissed off at both of us (even though i didn't do anything). the consequence was, i had to raise both of my hands for a few hours. There was this wierd kid at my primary school called pablo, hewas socially inept (homeschool ftw). He used to love doing extra projects on dinosaurs and volcanos and stuff and used to hang out by himself in the nursery playing in a tin box which he made no secret of pretending was a time machine (imagining himself with dinosaurs and castles and some such I guess) Anyway, in a very organised manner me and my friends systematically excused ourselves from about 3 different classes and converged in the nursery and all pissed in it simultaneously. We probably left at least 10 litres and left. Although no one saw us word quickly spread and the next day Mrs Lamond (the evil wench) called us out of class and lined us up by the flagpole and really (and justifiably) let us have it. After recieving our detentions and whatnot she asked if we were all clear, me being a wagon smartass, saluted and said 'yes sir'. I've only made my parents super mad 3 times in my life, one time when I almost flunked the 6th grade, one time when I was arrested and banned from the zoo for life, and the last time was when I got kicked out of school. Grounded for four months, with my 17th birthday right in there. That was depressing. When I was almost 18 I got a speeding warning (not ticket, didn't even go on my record) and was grounded for 2 months (due to excessive speed, 68mph in 35mph). Once again with my birthday right in the middle. So I had two birthdays in a row where I was grounded, both for stupid reasons and extremely excessive times. Am I the only 1 that his parents never ground even if they are pissed? no my parents never ground me and they're very strict. i never heard any asian kids that got grounded by their parents. maybe its the culture. I think it is the culture, my mom is asian and she never grounds me and she convinced my dad that grounding me will not help at all with punishment. I punched my English teacher in the jaw because he kept grabbing my wrist and pulling my arm even when I told him to let go. Funnily enough the only trouble I got into was with parents and the teacher got fired from school (apparently this wasn't the first time he had done it, schools in NZ have a strict no contact policy). There's no limit on the amount of force until it causes too much harm to the person being restrained. [bleep]in' hell, you could see where he had grabbed my arm. And his idea of restraint was my arm being being my back, my face being against a damn desk. Seriously, I wish I got him in his manhood now.
