Worst Trouble You've Gotten In With Your Parents?

Hit a teacher who was attempting to restrain me.

Multiple times, because his idea of restraint was painful. Should have just let me beat the other guy. Though really, kind of glad I did, I hated that damn teacher. Threatening us with punishment execises and [cabbage] for being late to another teacher's class. Seriously, our teacher was cool with it. We were in P.E the period before, so were always a bit late because of the damn walk, and the fact they didn't let us out until practically a few minutes before the goddamn bell.

You try not being 5 minutes late under that circumstance without running.

Ditto. I punched my English teacher in the jaw because he kept grabbing my wrist and pulling my arm even when I told him to let go. Funnily enough the only trouble I got into was with parents and the teacher got fired from school (apparently this wasn't the first time he had done it, schools in NZ have a strict no contact policy).

Ps: Hitting people is a bad idea kids. :shame:

That is lucky for you.

Here, they are allowed reasonable restraint. The problem? There's no limit on the amount of force until it causes too much harm to the person being restrained.

[bleep]' hell, you could see where he had grabbed my arm. And his idea of restraint was my arm being being my back, my face being against a damn desk. Seriously, I wish I got him in his manhood now.

PS: I do not condone violence, some people just deserve it.

[/hide]

Yea I had a red mark around my wrist from where he grabbed me. I'm slightly surprised he wasn't dropped earlier seeing as this was in grammar school and things here have a way of getting out of hand and end up appearing on the news etc. Something all schools want to avoid.

To be fair, 68mph on a 35mph road is a bit... fast :?

I've done 105mph in a 30mph road on my bike.. However it was clear and I could see everything.

I don't understand how anybody can be grounded after the age of what? 14?

I have never been grounded, except for when I was 12, for like a week or something.

The guy who got grounded for 4 months when he was 17.. Wtf dude? I would go absolutely sick at my parents and just be an uncontrollable [bleep] towards them.

Worst thing I've gotten in trouble for?.. Punching a hole in my bathroom door. I had to pay to repair it, which is fair.

Tough times don't last. Tough people do.

Worst trouble...hmmm. None of them stand out to me. I guess when a girl told my mother how I disrespected her. (I was trying to flirt with her.) This was like middle school though lol. I had to hear a lengthy conversation about respecting women and if I do like someone to make sure that nothing I do, is something wrong.

Am I the only 1 that his parents never ground even if they are pissed?

No. It's ineffective according to my parents.

my parents never ground me and they're very strict. i never heard any asian kids that got grounded by their parents. maybe its the culture.

This is so true O___o Also, my Asian parents are strict and they are also controlling and manipulative. And we eat a lot of rice...

Instead of grounding they hit you. Or maybe that's just us xP

Nothing stands out but:

When I was about 6 or 7 I had a fascination with fire. My parents left their lighters around the house and I would take one while they were out of the room and then light pieces of paper from the garbage on fire. One day I thought I should experiment and got my brother to help me. My mom walked in while I had my brother hold a flaming piece of paper (Not the portion he was holding, but the lower part). I knew she would tell my dad, and I was so afraid, so I hid under the bed. She said she would call the fire department and get them to come talk to me about fire. My dad came home and just got me to come out from under the bed and explained why I shouldn't play with fire.... in the house >.< . I was grounded for one day. I just couldn't watch tv or play games.

Another time when I was about 11, I was telling my dad how I was running away from mean kids at school. He told me to stop being a punching bag and to stand up for myself. I got so mad (we were at the table eating) that I threw down my utensil, kicked away my chair, and ran up stairs. I went into the bathroom and locked myself in. He came up and demanded that I open the door or he would break it down. Nothing happened when I opened it, he just walked away.

Since then I haven't really gotten in trouble.

I don't think I've ever been grounded. When I was little, I would get time-outs...Except not your typical time-outs. I would have to stand against a wall (straight...so it was like..[Caution: Executable File]rcise...) for 5 minutes or something.

Of course my parents dropped that eventually, and I don't think I've ever gotten in trouble with them since. I consider myself a fairly well behaved kid, though if I do some thing really bad...Who knows, maybe they'll bust the bamboo sticks out.

Though my parents aren't that strict. At least, to me...My sister's gotten a fair deal of punishment.

Can't say i've really had much bother with my parents. Anything serious i'd done when i was younger i just got shouted at and told "No TV!" or something. Never been grounded. However the biggest telling off i've ever had was when i released the handbrake on my uncles car and it rolled backwards into his garage wall, structurally damaging it or something lame like that. Didn't understand what the big deal was at the time however i can see why he was pissed now.

I once refused to go to some church on easter a few years ago. My mom is really church-going but I refused to go (i dont know why really), and ended up with 1 week of no TV/Video games. Thats the worst I can think of atm. Also once I set off the alarm at the place where we had our gym classes. I luckily didnt get in trouble, just had to 'talk' to the principle (but she was a weak [kitty] tbh).

I don't get in real trouble anymore because my mom doesn't punish me anymore because she thinks since I am 14, I will either learn myself or face the music. These are just a few...

Me and some friends got bored and did homeade tatoo's a few months ago... When she found out, she was pissed but my step-dad Kevin laughed.. and made her shrug it off.

I got REALLY. REALLY mad and punched a hole straight through the drywall in my wall in my room. I was compleatly freaking out after I realised what I had done. I decided to just own upto it, and because I was honest and told my mom right away, she just fized it a while later.

I was caught by my moms friend from work (she is a cop) drinking beer with some friends. She took the beer and just drove me home to my mom, who gave a long talk, not about NOT drinking but how if I am going to I should not get caught by the cops... I was astonished by what she said and asked her why she was like that, she just said that she was a teen once too.

I was caught sneeking out once. I was not caught until about 1/2 an hour after being home... She knew I had snuck out, but came in and asked me anyways. I tried to lie and said no... but the hickie on my neck couldn't hide it. She just yelled and said next time, I should ask.

I lied to my mom and told her I was going to ride my bike to my friend, Matt, who lives around 5 miles away. I was actully going to see my girl Emma around 8 miles away. I forgot that my Step-Dad Kevin comes home on that EXACTY same rode at the time I was coming to her house. He didn't tell my mom and told me to just tell him, and we won't tell her.

That is just to start.... -_-

no

Oddly enough, the asians I know here are threatened with grounding/are grounded fairly commonly. It's pretty harsh too, literally can't go outside for 3 months unless its school related for a guy.

On topic though, nothing really stands out for me. I tend to stay on my parents good side, probably because it hurts if I don't. Physical punishment seems to be the only thing that works at keeping people in line from my experiences.

My parents are afraid of ME.

They've gotten into trouble with me quite a few times.

My school has this thing claled Teacherase, where you can log in and see your kids grades..

Well, it also shows missing work, in math, i had 43 missing assignments, and a D+ (keep in mind everything else was pretty high)

They hit me, threatened to kill me if it happened again.

Heres a quote from it.

"YOU ARE SO [bLEEP] STUPID, YOUR [bLEEP] GROUNDED FOR A YEAR"

"Okay, but your being rather harsh, chill out."

"DONT TELL ME TO CHILL OUT, IM NOT STUPID LIKE YOU. IF THIS HAPPENS AGAIN IM GOING TO KILL YOU." (She had a knife in her hand at that moment.)

I went up to my room.

Nope, although I was grounded a little while ago for something minor. Like my first time ever. :?

Get back here so I can rub your butt.

I set my room on fire once, after being sent to bed during a meal.

I [cabbage] you not.

LOL. my brother was playing with a candle and it accidentally leaked into the bed. after a few minutes, the fire was tremendous and it was all over the left side of the bed. it took about 30 minutes to completely wash off and clean everything and after that, my mom got pissed off at both of us (even though i didn't do anything). the consequence was, i had to raise both of my hands for a few hours.

The consequence of mine, is that some bastard smashed my lego fire engine. Again, I am telling the truth. One burnt out mattress, and a smashed fire engine.

'Tis I, 'tis Vindice, 'tis I!

Thats like my friend, she was ranked 3rd in our Senior Class with like 4.30567, Salutadorian had 4.32568 and Valedictorian had 4.42345 I think. Her parents said she was a [bleep]ing idiot for not working harder, and the next time she [bleep]s up, they will kill her in her sleep and make the police think someone else did it.

That's ermm.... slightly abusive.

I'm glad I don't have the problem of my parents being even vaguely concerned about my education. They know I can do the work, they've got far more things to worry about than me not bothering with my homework or deciding that Sociology was too boring to bother with once or twice...

On the other hand they'll take out their big issues on us. My dad mainly, he'll get in a mood over something at work or at the pub then he'll come home and if you so much as breathe then you're dead. T_T

Anyway, the worst trouble? Hm, I'm not sure. I'm the sort of person that NEVER tells my parents what's going on, ever since I was 10 I used to hide if I got a bad report or a detention, and I don't socialise so I haven't gotten in trouble vandalising some house or taking candy from a baby or anything... I suppose the most trouble I get in is for not being social with them and not wanting to spend time with them.

I edit for the [Tip.It Times]. I rarely write in [My Blog]. I am an [Ex-Moderator].

My parents are very strict about my grades. If I get a D or an F, even if I have an A+ in the class, they will threaten to ground me if my grades don't improve. They blame computers and video games for any grade drop that I get, which really annoys me and is definitly not the problem in any grade drop that I have. It really annoys me, as I have maintained a 3.5 GPA for 3 years of high school now and they still think that grounding me for one grade is going to motivate me to try harder.

I could just imagine the police knocking on your door and saying "We're arresting you on suspicion of taking candy for a baby", and then having a trial that gets covered on TV :P
