What movie(s) did you last see?

I wasn't amazed at Eternal Sunshine either, that was a while ago though. I should try it out again.

Unendliche Geschichte, Die - The NeverEnding Story. Apparently it's German. Anyways, it can best be summed up as: massive lulz.

I loved Eternal Sunshine but I also have this thing for Kirsten Dunst. Any movie she's in I like even crazy/beautiful

Werckmeister HarmoniÃÆÃâÃâák - It was two days ago actually, I woke up in the morning and I felt like watching Werckmeister again. Too bad I had to work first, but when I came back I still felt like watching it a lot. I guess, that this movie isn't for any body. Considering the 39 takes this 145 minute movie is shot in. It's very, very slow. But that's what I love. Long, long takes with great black and white cinematography. Hypnotizing, it sucks you in and trough letting us see every daily thing Janos does you get even more aware of your surroundings. And that's not your bedroom. Highlights are [hide]The opening scene, the first scene on the square, where the camera dances trough all the audience and you finally get to face the unknown, and of course the amazing march of violence at the end of the movie[/hide] I guess people who read this know if it's something for them or not. So I might as well recommend it. click, click

Last film I saw was Blood Diamond & I thought it was really good, wasn't a massive fan of Leo but in the past few years with Catch me if you can and The Aviator he has kinda grown on me.

I have to be in a certain sort of mood for a movie like that, I might get it and then just hold onto it until then. :D

The General - I have nothing against silent movies, I just like to multi-task while watching movies and therefore I miss more than I should during silent ones. However that wasn't a problem at all on this one, I was really enjoying it the whole time and never got distracted. It's a comedy about a Confederate during the Civil War who is trying to impress the girl he likes. He isn't allowed to join the military because he is a train engineer on a train called The General, and is considered "too valuable" to waste as a soldier. Had some laugh out loud moments, a comedy doesn't need spoken jokes to be absolutely hilarious.

Nosferatu, eine Symphonie des Grauens - Dracula/vampire horror stories generally don't interest me all that much. While the story was just OK, the movie was great. I think it was just seeing what they could do with a movie in 1922, the shadows at the end were awesome. It's a horror/thriller movie and I never actually felt scared or anything, I would suggest this movie more for people who enjoy the classics than people who like horror movies.

Leben der Anderen, Das - Overall a pretty good movie, an interesting storyline. It's about a intelligence guy working during the time when East Germany was occupied by Socialists. The title, The Lives of Others, explains it pretty well. He is spying on a particular artist, knows every aspect of his life. It has a decent ending, it was kind of dragging out there so I was a bit worried but it ended up nicely, the last shot was great.

Went to cinema to see Ghostrider last night... it was ok I guess, 6/10.

The effects were very impressive, but maybe could've done with some acting... and maybe a plot or something ;)

But man, that Eva Mendez...

I just got back from watching Ghostrider with a bunch of my friends, yeah, I thought it was OK too, could have been better, it's mediocre.

But, yeah..Eva Mendez... ... :-$ ... <3: ...

I just watched The Prestige. I think I'm getting smarter :).

See, the thing for those of you who don't know is that this movie is jam packed with twists. Knowing that going in is not normally a problem, I'm usually not good at spotting them anyway. However, perhaps that there were so many small twists early on, I began to start expecting twists, and with this expecting I was able to spot and explain EVERY major plot twist that came, usually before the director likely wanted you to. Some of them are very subtle (like a reward for those paying attention), while others are I just deduced because stuff seemed...suspicious. And some I got just because I was really paying attention, and anyone paying attention should have got anyways.

However, I don't believe this to be a problem with the script. I think it was an excellent script, but I think handled differently it could have been much more entertaining. While normally I like Christoper Nolan's directing, I feel he made it much too easy to see the twists, and you aren't as...thrilled as you might should be.

So it was pretty good, but I think it could have been better.

300 - Was going to watch it on the IMAX screen, but that turned out to be sold out. It was still pretty epic on the regular screen. A good fighting action movie. Pretty close storyline wise to the graphic novel except for [hide]the whole queen storyline. She is barely in it at all.[/hide]

300-Pretty awesome, no fluff.

I actually liked the historical accuracies, they made the story more impressive and testosterone-filled, more black-and-white (storywise, that is). And there was just some awesome action, nothing unexcepted, which in the case of this movie is a good thing. Quite entertaining :).

This makes 4 in a row for 300.

It was very awesome

Clerks 2- some funny [cabbage], didn't get to finish it because the disk I got is scratched.. so I'm going to go get that replaced soon.(next couple of days)

Also bought Brick since indy and Daan have said it's real good, I'll watch it later this week :)

I know I'm really late, but I just watched "Saw", and dam, what an impact!

That was simply the best thriller I've seen, even better than one of my all time fave "Scream". I mean how people can go crazy... this is really scary, and the ending was so shocking. If you haven't seen this movie, and you're over 13+, I recomment you this superb movie. I mean hell...

Haha, I watched The Fly when I was little, man that freaked me out, I kept thinking what if I accidentally fell into a transporter then started turning into a fly :?

..it's real funny now that I think about it

Quatre cents coups, Les - 400 Blows is a French movie about a troubled kid, around 10 years old I am guessing. Wasn't all that happy with it at first, the kid steals, lies, and generally just misbehaves. The movie making you "feel sorry" for him didn't seem right to me, sure you can blame the parents for a lot of it but some responsibility falls on the kid. However I try not to let how I feel about the subject interfere with what I think of the movie, and after I got that through my head I started enjoying it much more. It was very well made, and the ending while sudden was still great.

Cinderella Man - Sports type movies generally don't interest me all that much. This one kept me a little more interested than normal, I don't know why.

The Usual Suspects - Awesome, as always.

Stay - Well this movie was a little odd. OK I guess.
