That method makes you set the trap each 2 ticks. Without drinking the method you set a trap each 4 ticks. Making it "faster".

You can't say "hmg why no double xpenuses?" because you still walk 1 and run 2 squares/tick, fail rate is still the same, etc

 

You actually interrupt the process of setting a trap by creating a new one (drinking pot) that you can run while it occours.

 

This can be done with regular pots obv, but it would require more banking = Xp waste.

you can catch a fish every 2 ticks which is faster than cut/eat method (3 ticks) I cba to drop/click the ovl like the way foot cut/clicked the food quickly. If foot got 90k/hr with his method without urns then this could be 150k/hr with urns

you can use a bag of cabbages when hunting to make sure ur invetory is always full, after u set the 4 traps just empty it with 2 traps left in ur invy then u wont ever get seeds i hate when the seeds make u stop setting a trap

wines never frement in bank while making when u make them there so u can store as many as u want in bank.

I don't know what are your numbers but for me each overload "costs" around 40k each (3) dose potion. You need 4 (3) potions per hour.

 

40k*4= 160k "loss"/hr.

What even is the point of the event?

Does it give exp? No.

Does it give you an item that is useful? No.

Does it give you a useless item that you will use? No.

Does it give you a useless item that you will destroy the instant you get it and never retrieve it again? Yes.

Holiday items were fun for a while, to give you an item to remember an event by, but when you churn them out year after year, the novelty kind of gets diminished.
