200M in all Skills

Featured Replies

Yet wasn't the same thing confirmed via Mod Wealth and Beno? Second-hand knowledge from another thread mind you so forgive me if I'm wrong.

It just sounds like typical Jagex rather than one person being ignorant. I doubt they have a unified, enforced policy on things like this. They certainly haven't for the past 5 years and I don't expect that to change. Who knows, maybe this is the period where we start to see them take a concrete stance. I remain skeptical.

That's a bit biased, taking tips on how jagex runs their polls kaida? So I'll add this- like this post if you don't want it changed.     Just playing devils advocate.

  • There will obviously be a huge arena, just like the Colosseum in italy, and server with a capasity to hold 10k players, then, suomi is in the middle of the arena, 10k people sitting on the seats, then,

  • From the data we have so far, it appears that anyone who is capable of achieving 200m in all skills would be overcome by their ego and then fail to get the final xp.   As of right now, it looks like i

I love when people use the ol' "I'm not new" argument and show they learned absolutely nothing since when they started playing.

It's hard not to get defensive in that way when people are questioning your fitness for your station.

I spoke to a friend who's been keeping an eye on this, and he called Mod Balance and Mod Infinity the 2 worst jmods ever, because they clearly have no idea what they're talking about, and they're just doing stupid shit like this to demonstrate power. Smh where do Jagex find people like this, and why don't they just stop them, because clearly these 2 jmods are just here to be a pain in the ass and pick down on everything that has no massive impact, they're just trying to show power.

L my ass if they got 16 years inbetween themself, they probs started like a year ago, cus 1 input:1 output does not count for each pixel or whatever they're trying to say it is.

[bleep] jmods sometimes

Mod Balance's side account has all skills ~30, and 99 Firemaking, while Mod Infinity's account has 87 Magic as the highest skill, with 711 total.

Damn, must've taken 16 years to get, don't you think guys?

Such 16 years to gain those levels

I would recomend everyone to ignore all those Jmods until Jacmob (the responsible Jmod for botwatch) says a word about it.

I would recommend the opposite. There's no danger to your account from not using mousekeys, there is possibly some from using them. Until its clarified I'd recommend not doing it. Weath who is also on the anti-bot and cheating team has said that AHK scripts are cheating. I haven't seen any comment on mouse keys otherwise from him though.  Here's the twitter where Weath and Beno both mention that AHK scripts are against the rules https://twitter.com/Umdlye/status/402877492454621184

I think it is clear that this JMod does not really know what he is talking about.

I think he knows how ridiculous it is but it's being put in place so they don't have to investigate if suspicious activity is legit mousekeys or botting. The no tolerance policy simplifies their banning process at the cost of mousekey users and they seem fine with that.

Yes, because we all know that levels on a side account is a way to measure time. We don't know if these side accounts are their only side accounts. I've had friends that have had 5+ accounts over the years, none of them ever seemed to have many stats over 80 but they had still been playing a long time. Also, not everyone treat the game like its the only game out there. Maybe those 16 years were heavily punctuated, playing a bit here or there and not 16 years of hardcore playing.

I'm not saying they're telling the truth, I'm just saying your evidence is pretty much worthless.

Honestly I don't see what the big deal is about having mousekeys anymore... the original intent and uses are being replaced by Jagex in-game with honestly less hassle to us as players and with a much smoother and easier to use funcionality. The use of mousekeys originally was to make dropping things easier, etc. The only thing you can do with scripts with ahk, the rest of the macros etc, is more cheating past that. Anything past what Jagex is already doing to make the game less click intensive in my opinion is a step too far into a cheating area. I used to use ahk to switch weapons and such faster, no need now with the action bar. Pretty much any of the gray area uses of ahk/mousekeys etc that weren't really cheating have already been replaced in game with something that in my opinion is easier to use than setting up an entire script for it...

I consider gaining less XP/hr a danger for my account and time.

I joined RuneZone in November 2012, and I've been to a few events since (I stopped using runezone in like may), and Mod Infinity was there on his RuneZone account, he managed the fc on it and you saw him on it pretty much daily.

I would consider a possible ban more of a danger. But to each their own. You know its risky at the moment so what will happen will happen.

Friend of mine that keeps an eye out for stuff like this told me, and he also said that Mod Balance is another high leader in RuneZone called Dan H, and they both seem like they're clueless about the game/the power got to their head.

This doesnt effect 07 does it? because honestly no one uses mousekeys really on rs3, and they are imperative on 07

It does! If they use the CoC and states it is against the rules that are described in the CoC it is also applied to all and every of the RuneScape games they created. That is RS3 but also includes RS07 as well as RSC.

Well, as long as players assume the owners of the game don't know what they're doing, it must be OK to do and have no repercussions right?

Or you know, Jagex, who DOES own the game (well I guess IVP in a sense now, but they aren't the ones who actually create anything).

Just sick of all this arrogance among the player base thinking they "know better" than people who actually are part of the company who is making the rules. It's a rule for a reason, if you don't like it, suck it up and move on. If you really want to just assume that you know better, then continue breaking it and don't complain if/when you get banned for it.

Well, you see, the rule is incredibly stupid, so when a jmod supports it out of the blue, it makes them look pretty stupid.

These two JMods in particular are noob players who only recently got hired at Jagex to work in the community. They have no technical knowledge, nor are they involved in any rule setting. It isn't part of their job description. Jagex isn't some single monolothic entity represented equally by every JMod. You don't magically gain deep insight into every Jagex policy in existence the moment you get hired. People need to stop treating every single JMod like they're all-knowing demigods. Long-term and highly active veteran players know quite a lot more about this game and the rules than newly hired people that were noobs at RS.
