stevepole
Now that it is officially out what is everyone's impressions? Has anyone bought one? For me personally it sparks a new interest in the PSP. Will I be buying one? Probably not.
Nadril
I would be interested, maybe, once the price went down and people get some proper homebrew working on it. The PSP homebrew scene has always interested me.
ElkNight
Just in case anyone didn't know what it was. I had to google it myself, because I didn't even know. 8,180WONGTONG IS THE BEST AND IS MORE SUPERIOR THAN ME#1 Wongtong stalker.Im looking for some No Limit soldiers! The PSP homebrew scene has always interested me. The price is fairly high for a portable gaming system. I would have much rather seen a sub $200 price point. RayOxide
Meh seems pointless to me really. I dont need a siggy no moar.
Ouchy
What's new in it? I highly doubt I'll buy one, it'll be something I use for wet weekends if I did. My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages.
RayOxide
Bluetooth capabilities and no UMD ports are probably the biggest deals. You install a few games onto the 16GB built in (?) storage or the memory stick. I dont need a siggy no moar.
InkofDeath
To be honest any portable piece of technology right now is so pointless to buy in comparison to the iPhone. Why would I spend over a thousand dollars on all these different devices that only do one thing, when I can buy an iPhone, and have it do everything said devices do, but much more? Portable gaming handsets aren't useful anymore unless they can use the internet, make phone calls, text, allow indi developers...etc. Anything else is just milking your money and the iPhone or other devices can do what it does anyways and more. Why I won't be getting one.
Star.
Eh, just bought a psp 3000 so I won't be getting one of these. When it becomes hackable then maybe. The buttons look a little awkward. ☢ CAUTION ☢ CAUTION ☢ CAUTION ☢ CAUTION ☢

sohkmj1
I will never get one. Already have a 3000, and plus the damned thing costs slightly less than the PS3 (100 odd down here if I recall). The controls also look awful and poorly placed... TheValeyard
I have nothing but apathy for it as I already have a PSP 3000. Too expensive, IMO ugly, no UMD drive and Sony have stated they were scrapping a previous plan to allow people to trade in all their UMDs. Missed opportunity to add a second analog stick. I mainly use my PSP as a portable DVD player so a 16GB drive is attractive to me, but then I could just buy some memory cards instead for a fraction of the price. stevepole
For those of you who have mention already owning a PSP, would you have bought the Go if you hadn't already had a PSP?
RayOxide
I would have bought any PSP other than go, to be honest. Memory sticks arent hard to come by and neither are UMDs.Not to mention hacking a normal PSP to play games off the sticks isnt hard ;p I dont need a siggy no moar. No. Not gonna trade in that extra 100 bucks for a small bit of space.
Dax
I'll survive with my PSP, PS3 and computer, thanks. #KERR2016/17/18/19/20/21. #rpgformod
SeanCalibur
The design of it looks awful in my opinion. If i were to buy a PSP, i'd either buy the original or the 3000 version.I just can't imagine people this particular version becoming that popular. Star.
For those of you who have mention already owning a PSP, would you have bought the Go if you hadn't already had a PSP?I don't think so, I really don't like the buttons on there. It's like you have to bend your thumbs downwards to play. ☢ CAUTION ☢ CAUTION ☢ CAUTION ☢ CAUTION ☢
Demoli
I have a original PSP, and i wouldn't buya psp go! over a 3000, sorry, but i dont see any advantage. It's too early to make games fully digital, and if it was up to me i wouldn't even think of making that, it would make several ppl unemployed (including me). Also, why the hell didn't they allowed UMD's? thats like the DSi not allowing gb games. sarg1010
Rough and fail but you get the point of what it should be.If the analog sticks were above the start/select buttons it would probably be pretty nice, otherwise they just look too small to use effectively. Star.
Holding it doesn't look as bad as I imagined: But I still prefer being able to rest my thumbs with the other PSPs. Eh, I'll go into GAME or Gamestation and try out the ones they have on display. ☢ CAUTION ☢ CAUTION ☢ CAUTION ☢ CAUTION ☢

Eh, I'll go into GAME or Gamestation and try out the ones they have on display.I think it looks awesome, i wanna buy it, but i know ill never play it because i bought a psp 3000 and i played it like 3 times then i sold it. I bought and ipod touch and its way btter than a psp lol but the psp go does have a pretty sweet look. is it chunky in your pocket?
champion
I had an original PSP but sold it 'cause I never really played it. Which makes me confident I won't buy this. :P
