Do you have a hard time saying 'no'? I find that I have an extremely hard time telling people 'no'; I tend to appease them just to avoid any possible conflict. One time in my freshman year, my desk partner in my Business class asked me for several answers to questions on a test we were writing. I feared he would get angry if I told him no, so I 'obligingly' gave him the answers he desired.

I know it's unhealthy for me to not stand up for myself, but it just seems to be the easy way out- which also isn't good =\

No.

YEAH THAT'S RIGHT.

I find it hard to say in a straight up way.

If i need to say it, I'll usually say 'nah I can't mate' instead of straight up 'no'.

If the answer to something is no, I don't see why you couldn't say no...?

When you say "no", do you mean refusing to help people? I'm confused ._.

It's hard for me to say no unless that person pissed me off or if I'm incapable of doing it in the first place. I enjoy helping others, for the most part.

Sometimes I get to talk all "proper" as I like to when I say no. Like when somebody asked me for test answers once, I said something like, "With my apologies, due to the nature of the assignment at hand and the importance of remaining silent throughout, I cannot accomodate your request." So I don't really have a problem with it.

I'm usually nice to most people, unless they act rude toward me or something like that. Then, I just tell them "No", and if they don't like that, I tell them to go [bleep] themselves. I'm a total [wagon] to people that I don't like. There was one girl that I didn't like in one of my classes, and she reached into my pencil pouch and grabbed a pencil from it. At the end of the class, I said, "Just for the record, don't [bleep]ing reach into my stuff and use something that's mine without my [bleep]ing permission. Okay?" Now, if she would've been someone that I was on friendly terms with or didn't have anything against, I wouldn't have cared.

I'm not always that blunt, though. If someone's just getting on my nerves and they're like "Psst! What's the answer to so-and-so question?" on a test, then I just try to be funny and give them the wrong answer, pretend to not hear them, or completely blow them off. I'm a pretty laid-back person, though, so I'm usually getting along with people and treat them well.

SWAG

Mayn U wanna be like me but U can't be me cuz U ain't got ma swagga on.

Depends on the situation. I generally settle for a blunt no, though. People don't ask much of me, though, which helps. And most of the time I'm willing to do stuff. I'm not a very "no" person.

When I feel it necessary, though, I go for no.

catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream

Depends on the conflict. I havn't ever really had peer pressure used on me before (Perhaps it's something to do with the fact the my friends and I stand about a foot above any other people, so they really don't want to mock us), so I can't really say much here. But for things like when people asking for answers to a test, I flat-out ignore them, seeing as my teachers won't let you talk at out, so If i respose I could end up with a 0. But for things where I'm scared of hurting people, and it doesn't really require any effort on my part, why say no?

I suppose that didn't make sense, and made me sounds very, very naive.

Hell no.

I don't do stuff I don't wanna do.

I say no if it's something I don't want to do, but I tend to be willing to do most things people ask of me.

Cheaters are scum but do you really need to be a tool? Like, not to him, but simply being one.

I suppose my real question is, Jesus [bleep]ing Christ, did you actually use those words in that order in a verbal sentence?

Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series.

If asked a question on a test where it will adversely affect me I will probably say something like "I would... but I dont want to" and leave it at that. However if its something like helping you out moving and I dont have anything else going on I am rather accommodating.

I usually have no problem with helping people, unless it's someone thats a complete douche or I am unable to help, but then I have no problem saying no. When I have to say no to someone I don't hate, even if it's something stupid, for some reason I always feel like I'm hurting their feelings.

Get back here so I can rub your butt.

The word no, yes.

The phrase [bleep] You!, which I use to say no, not so much.

If you choose your beliefs/lifestyle simply based on what your parents want, then you are a weak minded individual and are not even worthy of calling yourself a person.

I used to say no a lot more to people. I've been trying to help people with what they ask more, even if it means interrupting what I'm doing. I don't have a problem saying it, but I rarely have to say no to something anyway.

I usually just mumble something (maybe an actual attempt at a response), and they stop talking to me.

I'm fine with helping people if I can though.

My guitar teacher has all sorts of fun books at his house and one day I came across one titled The Book of NO. I read a few pages, it was pretty funny actually

With The Book of No you quickly gain control of your life by learning how to say "no" and sticking to it—without feeling guilty and without hurting or offending. The Power of NO is limitless

I should definitely get a copy for myself.

Hmm I'd have to say that while I enjoy helping others, I always stay true to myself. If I don't agree with something I'll say so and if I don't want to do something then I will say no. Although there are exceptions... For example Brent may want me to watch some boring [wagon] sci fi movie at the cinema with him and I won't really want to go but love him enough to say yes and sit through it.

The only people who tell you that you can't do something are those who have already given up on their own dreams so feel the need to discourage yours.

I actually say no even if I mean yes, just because it feels dull to always say yes to everything -.-

"would you make some salad please?" "No" and i'd do it anyways

People do not often ask me for anything, so I find it relatively easy to say no.

However if it's my dad, I'm an immeadiate yes, because I always fear that he's found my porn. He shouts from halfway in the house - "Uhhh [my name] can you come here". At this point I get all nervous, so I say - "yeah sure dad, I'll do whatever you want"

Just dont say you've found my porn.

This.

When my dad is drunk and or pissed off I will say yes to everything and act like I care. <_< Actually anytime he asks me for something I'll have to say yeah. If I don't he'll be angry and annoying so I just do whatever he says

I'll say no to other people though, like friends and that. I could say no to drugs or alcohol, or whatever really, I just can't say no to my parents because It'll put them in a bad mood and that's never good.
