What did you do today?

A couple of quite good outings this weekend. Took a little while to get the boat sat right but by the end of today it was feeling better. I was very rusty at first as well. Weights session at 6.45am tomorrow...

You're probably just dehydrated or out of shape or something. The only time I've vomited from working out was when I was pushing myself beyond my limits. Usually from running faster/longer than I'm us

  • How can you be into power lifting without bench?!?! MADNESS!!!

  • Well when your legs get too sore, you can always just do some curls... for the girls.

Just got back from a very pleasing camp.

I pulled 7.03 on my Erg, which is still quite good, and I am hoping to break sub 7 by the end of the season. Also made the A8 :D

My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages.

Nice work! We had a 5k last night (and we're still not quite sure why...), pulled a 19.16, which was okay I guess, we were all still pretty sore from weights though. Had another weights session this morning, an outing yesterday morning (hungover, fun) and one tomorrow morning in a four. All this early exercise is messing with my sleep patterns, I'm constantly napping. Need to get back into the routine.

I wiggled on my bed like a worm for a minute or two. Most exercise I've done all year.

My ribs finally healed, so I'll be able to get back to swimming/running on Monday. Good thing too, my back was starting to get annoyed with me.

Nothing, and I've been nothing for the past few days because of the freaking rain.

WONGTONG IS THE BEST AND IS MORE SUPERIOR THAN ME

#1 Wongtong stalker.

Im looking for some No Limit soldiers!

Had football training for the first time in just over a month, wasn't too bad.

Spent the rest of the day building up our local dirt jumps ready for the summer.

So don't let anyone tell you you're not worth the earth,

These streets are your streets, this turf is your turf,

Don't let anyone tell you that you've got to give in,

Cos you can make a difference, you can change everything,

Just let your dreams be your pilot, your imagination your fuel,

Tear up the book and write your own damn rules,

Use all that heart, hope and soul that you've got,

And the love and the rage that you feel in your gut,

And realise that the other world that you're always looking for,

Lies right here in front of us, just outside this door,

And it's up to you to go out there and paint the canvas,

After all, you were put on the earth to do this,

So shine your light so bright that all can see,

Take pride in being whoever the [bleep] you want to be.

Finally went to the gym for the first time in around 8 days. It feels so good to be physically tired that I'm more energetic

Had rugby pre-season fitness stuff, was pretty intense, but I didn't go too badly. I thought my lazy summer was going to catch up with me...

I'm finally starting to work out now, after nearly 2 months of injuries preventing that. Unfortunately those 2 months have killed my performance in sports, mostly my stamina and endurance which used to be really high for someone of my size. Now I gotta start working on that, but there's just enough snow that I can go for runs anymore.

Rugby practices start next week. Exciting.

There's no such thing as regret. A regret means you are unhappy with the person you are now,

and if you're unhappy with the person you are, you change yourself. That

regret will no longer be a regret, because it will help to form the new,

better you. So really, a regret isn't a regret.

It's experience.

Yesterday: outing in the morning, weights before lunch and then a 10k erg after dinner. Felt damn good, 2.04 split, first time though.

Went for a run through the park this morning. About 6.5/7KM, 35 minutes.

When the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore!

Lazy weekend, back to work today fairly gentley with 2x10 mins on the erg. No more pissing around, I'm going to get seriously fitter for the summer rowing.

someone broke the only elliptical machine in the gym

i hate using treadmills

Frosty outing this morning, did some race pieces. Decidedly average. But just did a 30 minute erg at 2.00.7 which was good.

Just came back from playing outdoor hockey with some friends. Crazy cardio exercise, we played for like 3 hours straight.

I also pwned my friend into the boards without even touching him  great success

Had a great erg session last night, 6x500m at 1.45 average splits. Should put me on course for a 7 minute 2k sooner than I expected.

Nothing, I haven't done much for a while. Well apart from the previous four days of cricket, seven games in four days and much back is killing me from bowling so much.

Went for a ride.

I was learning a new trick at my local skatepark, which involved spinning, which really took it out of my legs.

Had to do a 40 min erg today, as we don't have a bus to take us up to training. WTF it was so hard. Afterwards I hopped off the erg and jumped straight into the lake. Ah mah god it was so nice, [bleep] in your pants nice.

Nationals are only 5 weeks away D:
