I conquered my fear and tried to do a backflip. Landed wrong, but who knows about next time.

Congrats, I hope it went in your favour. I haven't done anything awesome yet, but I plan to play all 3 KH games on the PS2 over Thanksgiving Break from college, since I never play games at college (school, social life, parties, ect.)

[hide=22-10-09 Project Operation: Clown Car]Today, myself and 11 other friends commenced the plan we have been brewing for about 2 weeks. We codenamed this plan: Project Operation Clown Car

Project Operation Clown Car came about when my stepdad told me a story about when in the military they fit 10 people in a Hyundai to go out drinking. I told my friends and we decided we would top this. We would fit TWELVE people in our friend Marc's car, a '99 Mistubishi Eclipse. It took about 3 minutes to get everyone in the car, pretty fast if i say so myself. We had 9 people in back, one driver, and 2 rpeople dual-wielding the shotgun spot. To make things harder, we had a huge subwoofer in the back that Marc decided not to take out. A few "events' happened along the way. When we first started off, there was a screeching noise and we were going quite slow. Then Matt jokingly says "your e-brake's on!" and it turns out it was icon_mad.gif. Then I (riding part of the dual-shotgun) accidentally flipped it into neutral in the middle of the road, luckily no one was behind us. We drove about 5 minutes down to the local plaza and pulled into the center circle of attention near the movie theater to pile out of the car. We had people around us laughing and one guy was taking pictures. The security guards were laughing as well as we all piled out of the car. Then we all ate at Johnny's Burgers, 4 people left and we drove back to the school for band practice with 8 people (still a tight squeeze, but nothing compared to the drive down). In short:

PROJECT OPERATION CLOWN CAR WAS A COMPLETE SUCCESS. MISSION COMPLETE.

I'll put up the video once all the clips are piled into one collaboration (there were 3 people taking videos). In the beginning we have Marc the driver explaining the rules (he'll pop the trunk and everyone bail if police showed up, no farting, etc.) Then we have a small bit of the ride there, followed by the emergence of 10 people from the car (me and Matt, the other one dual-wielding shotgun, got out to videotape it).

This, my friends, is why Thursday Night Rehearsals in band are so amazing. [/hide]

[hide=19-11-09 Monster Floats and Rave Night!]

Another Thursday Night Rehearsal in band, and this time we decided to create Monster FLoats before band! We walked to the plaza and each bought a bunch of candy and a Monster. Then we went to Cold Stone (they ahd a fundraiser promoting our school, so why not?) and each got a small vanilla ice cream Then we stealthily took a few cups from Johnny's Burgers, and it was time! For reference, Monster floats smell like gasoline. But, a small ice cream and a full can of Monster, when combined, TASTES AMAZING!!!!!! (If you like Monster, that is).

So, on to rehearsal. We have a theme every Thursday, and the theme of the night was Rave Night! So Cody (if you ever see my posts in the Today thread/the link in my sig advertising his webcomic, he's the creator of that, the guy in them with long curly hair) had this awesome idea and told it to the marching instructors. Instead of using the Dr Beat (metronome) to march basics to, why not play some Rave music? And they ACTUALLY LET US! biggrin.gif So we were marching along to techno for about an hour, and funnily enough we did even better that way![/hide]

i woke up and scared a robber away from my apartment, as he was reaching into my apartment to start to climb in not 5 feet away from where i had been sleeping moments earlier. then i dealt with cops and various phone calls to people for the next 2 hours.

Ground. But with a mat, so it was a bit safer.

I got a B+ on an essay that is based off a book that I probably read half of. I wrote the essay the morning the rough draft was due and made no corrections for the final version.

I hooked up with a gorgeous girl in my school... we'll see where it goes from here.

I also got my midterms back on Friday and I am getting an 86 average, I'm really happy with this because before school started I set a goal of an 85 average. I set this goal because now that I'm in grade 12 marks actually matter.

Quit Runescape... Dec 2001 - Jan 2008 on and off... mostly off.

Did my epic hard homework last sunday, took me five hours to get it right.

Felt awesome when it was done.

Ummm, I got full marks for my Science research paper. That as pretty awesome. Also, I am working on my own pen-and-paper RPG Survival 2050, a unique blend of Zombie apocalypse, science fiction and a little bit of fantasy. It sounds quite stupid, but it is looking completely awesome so far. I'm just running through character creation now, and I promise you that it will be a very unique experience for anyone playing. First time I have ever attempted something so large, and I'm proud I've taken the plunge.

Wait, this thread's title is - "Done anything awesome lately", but below that, in the OP, it states "Done anything you're proud of lately ?"

Well, it's often that the awesome things you do you shouldn't be proud of and the things that make you feel pride aren't awesome.

In that case, yes.

About six tabs.

I tried weed, I wouldn't call it awesome, but it's something I've been wanting to try for a while now.

I conquered my fear and tried to do a backflip. Landed wrong, but who knows about next time.

I can't even try a frontflip on a trampoline. :(

I can't frontflip on a trampoline either. You should see my cousin, he's a maniac. I think he has some vids on youtube, if I find them I'll post some links. He is damn awesome XD

I moved into my very own apartment last week.

:^_^:

Oooh sweet! Can't wait to get my own place in another 10 years hehe.

Well, I'm still working on my pen-and-paper RPG. Making character sheets is so damn annoying...

I work around 60 hours a week, i think that's awesome.

Some people dream of success, while others make it happen.

I intercepted a high-five on Saturday. Beyond that, nothing really.

<_< Stop winning in everything.

Well, it was like my 5th attempt that week, but it's always a lot cooler when they don't know that. Usually, though, high-fives are too far away to be grabbed in time, or there's a table between me and it.

I did a Front tuck, Back tuck, Aerial, Kip-up, Flash Kick, X-Out, and 540-kick. Also an okay Armada Dupla.

I've also almost mastered the Butterfly Twist.

I conquered my fear and tried to do a backflip. Landed wrong, but who knows about next time.

That's ballsy. It's harder for girls to back tuck because woman have more mass away from their center of gravity.

Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series.

One time my uncle pee'd a fly out of the air, when he was at a roadstop or something. He went into the main area and got all the guys to look.
