Unlocked the AN-94. Finding it kinda hard to get used to the two shot burst.

Played some more conquest today but the team was absolute [cabbage] so i decided to take a break. Seemed like i was the only one on our team actually trying to cap the points. Too many folks trying to play the recon kit and sitting on top of the hills taking pot shots instead of getting in amongst it, helping capture flagpoints.

You can just spam it and it's "almost" as good as an automatic. Not as fast as the M16 but it has a hell of a lot of power.

I just unlocked it too, it's an amazing gun. Like Nadril said, you can just pull the trigger really and it's almost as fast as a machine gun

Yeah thats exactly what it was like. The other 3 in my squad had names like that, couldn't snipe for [cabbage]. I spawned on one, gave him an ammo box and watched as he spotted a guy then took 4 shots at him and missed every one. At least he spotted him i suppose.

 

Played some games of rush on Valparaidso. One of my favourite maps. Used the AN-94 and i'm getting used to it better now. It's a headshot beast.

My rush teams weren't much better than my conquest team from earlier but we narrowly got beat a couple of the games. I went the recon kit for defending the 2 stations after the one right infront of the lighthouse as the enemy were grouping up and firing from the lighthouse. Got a couple of sweet headshots through the windows and done quite well at picking the enemy off as they ran down the hill. Also got a ninja defuse as well. The building with charged station B in it was bombed wide open so i called my own mortar strike onto it and just ran right into it. Killed a dude with the MP-443 and managed to get under the floor and defuse the station.

Bought a second copy of BC2 today. Also got a warranty on it so I won't have to worry about it.

I've started playing more conquest matches now since rush gets very frustrating sometimes. I had some very good games today, played a few rounds with my friend and we were destroying. I like doing laps around a particular flag and make sure no one captures it. When I kill a person, they come back thinking I am in the same spot and I surprise them from behind! I'm also really liking the under-barrel shotgun. I get raw power at close range while still being able to have a long range gun. Since I've been using the under-barrel shotgun, I've been using the tracer dart as my sidearm. Often times, my team doesn't seems to notice that there's a nice marked tank for them though and I have to wait until the tank is gone.

Wouldn't you know, my processor is too [cabbage] to run this game. Brilliant. Now I need to shell out another $390 so I can start playing a proper fps, cause you know, modern [cabbage]hole 2 isn't gonna quit on me yet (in fact, its the only game that has ever run on my computer without any troubles whatsoever. Brilliant -.-).

I'm not quite sure what the tracer does. I know it identifies the tank for all your enemies, but during my brief use of it, I didn't see any other effects.

Yea, sarge summed it up nicely. I should have typed that better. I meant that i would trace the enemy tank and none of my teammates would blow it up. I would destroy it myself but I was using assault. :-(

Playing rush on Valparaiso today, went 46-11. One of my best games yet i'd say. Done it all with the AN-94 but i unlocked the M16 so i'll start using that now. Only got the MG3 to unlock on the medic class then im gonna start on the Engineer.

one question: did you hold the cross-hairs over the square until the range came up? That is when it is locked on. Try it, and before you fire, aim up a bit, and you will see.

So they're not going to tell us what weapon tweaks they're going to make. Which is kind of ok, but then we can just go into the game and find out the exact stats and just compare. So meh. But at least they're balancing the weapons out. I wonder if they will increase damage or RoF on the less used weapons and even reduce 40mm grenades to 70 DMG instead of 100. I don't know but the M60 and M1911 need to definitely be touched in this patch. That is, if this patch isn't a very good fake.

I find myself completely agreeing with DICE's point that giving those guns the 4x scope would result in people sniping with them. I can not, however, understand why they allowed the 4x scope to be used with every other gun outside of the 'all kits' option. While a red dot sight seems fine, letting people put a 4x scope on an SMG/LMG (and in some cases an Assualt rifle) just results in killing people from crazy distances. SMGs are meant for close range, and LMGs surely have too much recoil to ever make such a zoomed sight useful..?

I don't see anyone even being able to use an SMG from a long range with a 4x.

 

Either way I've never been a fan of the 4x as I can generally see and aim just fine with red dot.

 

 

 

Been using the XM8 LMG more and I think it'll be my "go to" gun for comp now. Have our first match against 20ID tonight most likely so should be interesting. Also played with a guy from [bT] who, if we win this match, we will face next round. He's been talking to us and saying after the tournament is over that we should join his team for 4v4 and 8v8.

 

Also been [bleep]ing around as recon and having some fun. Mostly just trying to get it all unlocked so I can say I have all the guns. Got the Gol now but I've actually been sticking to my SVU red dot.

I'd like to see these changes:

 

 

- Damage lowered on M60

- Accuracy lowered on M1911

- Explosive perk no longer works with 40mm launcher (or at least reduce it's effectiveness)

- 40mm does less damage (I'd like to see the 70 instead of 100 or so) or make it so it has less of a radius.

T88 LMG is horrible. I have no idea how I die from this gun as often as I do.

 

Really pounding away at unlocking everything in the Medic class. Also only have two pins left to get (they're easy ones imo) to have acquired all pins. I also hate how steep the level/exp curve is from level 23s to level 30. Like, geez, I need my hiking boots.

I had honestly the worst team-mates ever. I get into a match, assume a sniping position, then the other three players start tagging me with Tracers. They repeated this everytime they died. Then they proceeded to insult my skill & choice of class, when I have pulsating lights attached to me, with 10 kills and 2 deaths, while the best team-mate had 11 kills and 8 deaths. Everywhere I went, they would just tag me. I ended both matches with 10 kills and 2 deaths, not before receiving my fair share of abuse and how I'd let the team down, while really annoyed me.

 

One of the guys names was [sAO]GeoMarine, and he had two mates with him. Apparently he's going to put it into a youtube video, showing how much of a noob I am, which, to be frank, I don't care.
