Got "The Dentist" today during Conquest on Laguna Presa. It was the last kill on a recon sitting on the far edge of the map; he didn't even move after he killed me. His name was jerkoff73, how fitting.

I'm getting this on monday, and I was wondering the best ways to learn the multiplayer, how to do well, spots, weapons etc.

 

I was OK in the first BC, nothing special, and I had the beta of this and was terrible. Any help?

Don't constantly sprint. If you sprint and run smack into someone, chances are you will die, unless you get lucky. Also, wait a few seconds after an enemy runs past if you decide to go knife him. Team-mates may spawn on him/be behind him. If you have play MW2, pretty much use the same tactics, with a little common sense mixed in. And when sniping, try to snipe them when they aren't looking at you, so they don't know where the bullet came from. :thumbup:

Also find a gun that you like. The first guns aren't that great, but once you get new ones it gets easier. Also, work with your squad. If one of you dies, and the killer gets killed, revive him if you can.

The medic would probly be a good class to start for you, LMG's are pretty good.

If you can, play it with friends. Having a squad you can rely on makes it a lot easier than playing with randoms. Whenever you see an enemy, always take a split second to spot them before you shoot. This alerts the rest of your team so if you don't kill him, you'll get a spot bonus as well as a kill bonus.

Awesome story is awesome. Was playing rush on Laguna Presa. I decided to try and flank them...with a engineer class. Was trying to get lucky with a CG attack. As I was walking I pulled out my CG and BAM! 2 medics in front of me. I fired my CG and killed one, pulled out my PP2000 and killed the other. Reloaded my guns and used there kit to heal my self. Keep going and I saw a PBL going out of the dock. I sat and waited and sure enough it was coming toword me. I pulled out my CG, lead into the target and fried. Destroyed the boat and got a triple kill. I then used my PP2000 to get a impressive long range attack with it. Our team was so good they didnt even destroy the first sites. I think I ended 18-5 :thumbup:

I'm only 5 achievements away from all 50. I need the 20 destruction kills, 5 friend kills, helicopter roadkill, helicopter kill with a stationary AT, and reach lvl 22. For the 5 friend kills, could one of you help me out? None of my friends have it :(

 

Does anybody know how to set attack/defend orders on conquest? I just need that pin and a couple vehicle ones to get all of them, and it seems like nobody knows how... every squad I get in, I ask them to set some so I can get the pin, and nobody does <_<

Press Q or whatever button spot is on the consoles on the flags/objectives.

 

Attack is when you press Q when you're going to capture the flag. When defending, it is when your flag is being attacked and you kill the people attacking it. You just need one Flag Defense point to get it, if you have Q pressed and the animation on the objective is there.

 

*Not sure if it has to involve your squad though.

 

**It can also be while you attack an M-COM and then defend it from being disarmed, I do believe.

Had a few good games earlier. Got the acheivement for shooting down an enemy helicopter with a stationary rocket launcher. :thumbup:

Also got a funny kill with the GOL. Was defending one of our flag points on conquest and was lining up a headshot on a guy who was hiding behind a stone block, as soon as i fired someone else from the enemy team ran right in front of me and i killed him instead. Quite close to unlocking the M95 as well.

You can do the order and get the pin though. You don't need other people to make the order, you can do it by yourself, or so that is how I thought I got it.

I got in a good squad of 3 other people with mics, and they got the pin for me. It does have to be someone from your squad, and not you. The description on the pin is "obtain an attack and defend order from your squad in the same round"

You can put the order up yourself though, so you can be in a 1 man squad and still get it.

 

 

I still need the defend 4 flags pin in order to have gotten all of the pins. It'll nab me like 15000 points once I manage to get it.

 

I'm almost through with the single player achievements. I just have a few more MCOM stations to find, then I need the knife 5 friends and 20 demolish kills and I'm done.

We decided on the clan tag [FREEDOM!]. Not sure what the clan name is yet but it has something to do with Mel Gibson, the Patriot and winning America.

 

 

I'll probably end up playing medic for our team unless no one wants to go assault. It's nice to know that M60 and M1911 are banned in the tourny :).

I use the type 88 LMG whenever I play medic and use the MP 412 Rex as my sidearm of choice. Glad to see that I'm not using "cheap" weapons.

After I got my red dot for medic the other day I started to give the SAW another shot. Really beastly gun and I may end up using it in the tournament. I think I got like 7 kills in squad rush in less than 2 minutes while going to the bomb site, it was intense. With magnum rounds it pumps out damage and has a really nice rate of fire as well.

I never really gave the SAW a chance. I remember not liking it in the demo, but I haven't really used it since then. I'll give it a shot when I start to bronze star all weapons.
