Squad Rush, I find to get the most enjoyment out of. Perhaps it is because of the lack of vehicles and like hardcore letscampwithmym60allday players...:/

I really enjoy squad deathmatch. Some games I can be so epic for our team. One match on white pass I think I went 20-6. Best match that I can think of.

Has anyone gotten the "et tu brute?" (Or however you spell that...) achievement? The one where you knife 5 friends... does it have to be people on your friends list that play, or can it be 5 teammates?

 

Friends on your Friendslist who are on the other team. Has to be five different people.

 

It can be the same person.

Had a quick game of conquest this afternoon before i went out. Got put on a team that was being completely dominated by the opposition. They had all 3 capture points and were picking us off when we were leaving the spawn. I managed to sneak around the side and hide in a building, my squad spawned on me and we caused chaos for the last couple of minutes. All the enemy team were too busy firing into our spawn area to notice us take them out from behind. T'was good.

 

And whats the deal with the dog-tags with peoples gamertags on them? Do you only get them when you knife kill someone? Whats the difference between the bronze and silver, just rank i presume?

The colour just represents rank, bronze till level 23 and I think gold at 50 not seen any rank 50s yet so no chance to give them a stab and find out.

Yes, when you knife someone, you get their dog-tags as a reminder. Fun little something extra that you can go "Look I got withing knifing distance of you and you didn't notice haha!", although quite a few of mine are from ninja'ing into their base and stabbing the UAV guy. It's lame that the ones you got during the demo don't count toward the badges. I have like 50 of them, (3 of one guy :grin:) , but the badge only has 37 <_<. And I don't know what is different about bronze and silver ones, maybe when you reach bronze star for the knife you get silver, and so on?

Ah cool. I've not got many tags, i prefer killing folks before they reach knifing distance haha.

The Arica harbour conquest map, which got added with the free map pack i beleive, is a pretty hectic map. At the start it's basically whichever team can get withing shooting distance of the others spawn and just stay there. Got a few sweet headshots with the GOL doing this though, one when the guy jumped off a roof and i slotted him in the jaw while he was in mid-air.

 

Last game i played started to lag really bad so i left, went to check my stats and they had all reset. Dunno what the problem is, but it seems to have happened to a few folks on the lol-fest that is the official bad company forums. Hope it's not a crappy april fool's prank.

I stabbed a level 35 the other day and still got silver tags. Got 223 dog tags atm, been knifing less in games recently.

I decided to get gold stars on all of the weapons, or at least try to before I stop playing for whatever reason. But when I was doing the 40mm gold star, I realized how easy it is to just camp at a distance, have the double grenade perk, set down a supply crate and just lol yourself to 20 - 2.

 

Was amazed at how unhindered it is to just spam the 40mms, like really? I am surprised the servers I join that are all level 30s/40s, everyone isn't just spamming them as their main weapon. I know one or two kids will be doing that in any random pub, but really, they're worse than the M60 and much easier to use.

Double the fun and more xp: Have a friend or two do that with you. Many lols. Pretty easy to do on Nelson's Bay (only good thing about it -.-).

Had a ok game last night. Squad death match on white pass. Our squad was kick butt. I think I went 19-5 so and all it was good. Also, favorite gun is the PP2000 :thumbup:

Get it for the GOL. In my opinion it's the best sniper in the game.

I just got to level 14 and got the ceramic body armor. However, I got disconnected from the server and it says I am back to level 13; I don't have the armor any more and I the few ak-74u kills I got didn't register as well. Also, there was this other disconnection problem I got yesterday. I got the gold star for the xm8c. I know I got the 100+ kills but it only says I have 84, but I still have the gold star. And apparently, I only need 8 kills for the bronze star for the m93, but it says I have 0 kills for it so far. Have you guys ran into similar problems?

5th gold star on M16 and close to my 4th (IIRC) on AN-94.

I need 40 more kills with the M416, and like 25 more for the 40mm shotgun (if you can get a gold on that?) to complete the entire Assault class for gold stars, pins and insignias.

 

Then I'll focus on the Recon or Engineer class...:/

 

With the 40mm shotgun I got a triple kill with one shot. I was like, wow? Really? Cool.

Completed the single player campaign last night. Quite enjoyable, not all that hard either. I liked all the sly jibes at Call of Duty, thought those were brilliant.

 

Playing online today, kept getting put into games where the team i was one were getting absolutely smashed by enemy tanks and helicopters attacking our spawn. Gave up after getting put into 4 games like that in a row.

Exactly, I still play some MW2 (JUst to get 3rd prestige and a emblem I really want...) but BC2 is a more compleate gaming experince.

Had my best match ever in terms of kills last night, although I received a shockingly low amount of points.

 

I unwittingly joined a friend's match - Hardcore Rush in the jungles of Valparaíso - and opted to try out the VSS sniper rifle properly for the first time. Fortunately, I found the rifle to be far more accurate than I remember it being in the original Bad Company, meaning that I was consistently getting head shots from a decent distance using the default scope. The extra ammo specialization turned out to be a necessity due to the automatic nature of the gun using up far more ammo than I intended.

 

Long story short, I went 52 - 11 and destroyed 3 M-com stations for a grand total of.... 3800 points! I am actually pleased that you receive so few points for so many kills as it should encourage others to play properly as a team in order to gain the most points.
