Apparently its some programing put into the game to stop people using modded controllers.I doubt that is their reasoning.They had it in WaW for the same purpose.And yes it is in place because of the modders. December 5, 201015 yr Author When i use FN FAL, often the gun does not shot. It's not a reload issue, but it just stops shooting for few seconds whether i tab the controll. Anyone else experience this? Is this a bug? It must be>.< Even reloading does not work when it "stops" to shoot.Its the mod cap. The cap dosnt slow down your shooting, or like stop you from shooting fast for a while like WaW did. It's not hard to do. Instead they have this stupid "jamming" mechanic (which I still think is a bug) which makes the FAL/M14 pretty [cabbage]ty guns. Seriously, fire rate caps are how normal developers handle issues like scroll wheeling on PC. You make it so that no matter how fast you click a gun will only shoot up to so fast. BAM! problem solved.

BAM! problem solved. I agree, I still see quite a few 3+ prestige players using them though. They must be somewhat decent. Not sure as to why they didn't go with your route rather than the jamming mechanic.
December 5, 201015 yr I've tried both. Problem is up close you're just going to get out shot by a 74u sub, long range I think the m16/G11 are better and mid range a fammas/commando will win. It'd maybe be ok if you could fire it a bit faster but when even I can easily get it to "jam" there is an issue. I actually kind of hoped too that there might be some use with m14/FAL with an acog but the recoil is just way too high to be useable that way.

December 5, 201015 yr FNFAL, M14 in Hardcore = loltastic. I do think they both need a 'little' increase in their RoF to be usable in non-hardcore games. Or bigger maps.

I mean, you can shoot them, but then more will just come after you -- and even then, that's leaving yourself open to another player attacking you (it's happened to me before). Also, I'm thinking of switching from PS3 to PC because of the incredible lag (one bar connection) I get on my PS3. What do you guys think of the differences between the two? I'm already pro as hell at WoW PvP as a hunter, so I'm sure that learning the ropes on CoD PC shouldn't be too hard. Are there any major issues on either one that are exclusive to that console? Yeah you don't want to play the PC version if your goal is to get away from issues.
December 9, 201015 yr Tried completing the game on Veteran. Putting it on hiatus because the respective achievements for completing certain missions on Veteran aren't unlocking (like the ones where you complete 3 missions on Veteran). I think when I complete it (which is insanely hard), nothing is going to happen and I'm going to have to try again.
