ummm.. To be honest, what irks me like none other are the people (the OT thread reminded me of this) who ogout of their way to appear intelligent. Intelligence eminates from one, if one is intelligent, they should know they shouldn't have to try and show it.

That part specifically is him mocking the anti-religious side of the forum, though it goes with the whole post, which is him mocking the posters that go out of their way to appear intelligent and fail to realize that nobody actually understands what they're actually saying. Basically, the people that try too hard.

What I am trying to say is, many people who are not as smart as they project themselves to be (either consciously or subconsciously) feel insecure about their intelligence, so they must beef it up with lingo that isn't needed. And when you catch them on it, they explode at you, because they are hoping you are so caught off guard by what they call you (be it misogynist, etc. idk. that word just came to mind XD) in that you won't question their logic, and or rationality of their states of mind. That being said, while this is a bad habit, I tend to assume people with the words "logic," "thesis," "intelligence" or any bizarre inane scientific fact in their rs/tif name are not as smart as they think.

 

Which brings me on to my next to ones:

 

 

1) people who assume. *points up* *blushes* yes, I assume a lot as well. But still... it truly irks me.

 

2) people who try to act philosophical. Though I tend to not be bothered as much. But when I drive around town people try to sound deep when they say "no man stands so tall as to when to help a child." Uhh, unless that child is 6 feet whatever, that man will not be standing as tall as they are physically capable of doing so. If you want to put the message across that helping kids es muy bueno, say it.

 

Or like when people point out obvious stuff, but then try to make it sound mysterious so everyone's brain reboots and they "omg" in their pants. With something like

 

"Have you ever wondered, why the duck, does not try to speak english?"

 

or

 

"Has anyone noticed if you filmed traffic with a camera, it'd be like... a.... river... the flow of human life, it's truly a masterpiece." (the periods symbolize dramatic pauses)

This annoys me, but I'm really only posting because idk if other people think this was as well. If anyone can tell, I LOVE originality. I lurve it so much. So serious, it's literally what my life revolves around. No trolling. But when I think of something, and someone does it first that REALLY BUGS ME ! ! Like, for example, this kid in my class had this goddamn uncanny way of asking the exact same questions using the exact same lingo as I would, literally moments before I would. So i'd try to jump the gun and ask first/and or explain first and he still beat me to it. So when this girl asked me for help someone said "Don't ask Sam, he just copies Doug (the guy I mentioned) Dougs the smart one. ARGH ! ! ! ! (it got creepy at one point though.) I guess you could say I was jealous, but more I just felt disappointed. Like I felt like I had to think of questions before i knew questions to ask.

 

Anyways, moving on. Like, lets say I think of a really cool movie about cars that turn into robots, and fight. Next thing I know, I see a transformers commercial. (Lets say this was the first commercial ever aired, so I honestly did think of the idea by myself) I would say they aren't original at all, and i hate them. And I can't figure out why they are not original, until a few months later I realize it was because I guess I felt they stole my idea. (Though thats not possible L) If Rahila is reading this, I guess thats my take on that band you posted. I swear on my life I had an idea of starting a band similar, minus the screaming, with different melodies etc. Though the idea being the same. Anyways. If anyone can tell, my brain is slowly starting to turn off, thats why this post is kind of rambling....

Skype is lulziest for this. I had a friend a few years back who used to go on appear offline a lot. My mom runs one of the larger tea parties in america. I'm a republican, and I must say those things are [bleep]ing [developmentally delayed]ed, and corny. I mean they are making a positive impact imo, but they're like... politic geeks.
