I_am_Geed
Nomad isnt even hard with a guide lulz Ive died there almost because of lagging while stepping on a floor trap chinning Nomads Requirem was a joke. It took me an two full hours (an hour of which was me failing at fighting him.) And no guide was used. The only real hard quest I can think of though is WGS, just because it involves a lot of puzzles that take a while to complete.
Golvellius
MM was harder in the old days (05).Most people where low level when they tried it.So, they didn't have a whip (it cost too much).Didn't have high prayer, alot didn't even have it enough for pro melee because of the hugh pain-in-the-rear ectofunctus thing. Also, this was before the agility nerf so even someboday with 99 agility had there run cut out far before people with lvl1 agility today and there was no sitting. So, you had a lvl50-70s in rune with no prayer a dlong, an antipoison pot, and some lobbies trying to walk through half the dungeon at least several times and then go kill that big demon.Yeah, so it wasn't that easy, seen lots of people die. Exclusive Legacy Mode Player He just successfully trolled you with "courtesy" and managed to get a reaction out of you. Lol
Nhs_Xc
I did it on an account with 60 att and 10 hp. Not too bad with friends.

Aiel
I did dt at 46 cb with 1 prayer and 1 def. THAT was hard. DK drops (solo/LS): 66 hatchets, 14 archer rings, 13 berserker rings, 17 warrior rings, 12 seerculls, 13 mud staves, 7 seers ringsQBD drops: 1 kite, 2 visages, 4 dragonbone kits, 3 effigies, lots of crossbow partsCR vs. CLS threads always turn into discussions about penis size....It's not called a Compensation Longsword for nothing.I've sent a 12k combat mission to have Aiel assassinated (poor bastard isn't even Pincers-tier difficulty). dargonhuman
The worst part I can remember from Monkey Madness was getting the timing right on the jailbreak - those cursed Gorillas were annoying! Otherwise, it wasn't that bad. Just long, and at times, tedious. I had a harder time doing Ernest the Chicken (lever puzzle... *shudder*) than I did MM. Part of the Star Traks network. (^^Clicky!) MstrMonopoly
I didn't use a guide for MM (or any other quest, for that matter), and it was still fairly easy. I piety the fool.

stonewall337
No such thing as a hard quest. Period. Yes, I have max stats/gear/whatever... but there is just nothing that really challenges me in this game. Would love them to aim a quest that is actually difficult for someone like me - a level 699 boss might be hard for an average level 100... but not for high levels. Jagex doesn't design quests for 5% of their playerbase Doesn't mean they shouldn't. Honestly, there is almost NO content designed for the exclusive use of the maxed out player. Not saying we need a lot, but SOME would be nice. [hide=Drops]Araxxor Eye x1 Leg pieces x2GWD: 5000 Addy bar Steam B Staff x3 Z Spear x6 Sara. HexiledRazz
Over the years the standard for what is 'hard' has been raised. It's true, back in the day Monkey Madness was a incredibly difficult quest. But now, we have While Guthix Sleeps, Nomad's Requiem, and other quests that raised the bar quite a bit. Plus, over the years we have gotten more items that make these old quests a cakewalk. And it's a lot easier to obtain exactly what you need to overcome a quest with ease due to the GE. It's just a matter of how much gold you're sitting on. This is why i believe that Jagex is trying to make more and more quests focused on puzzle solving skill and combat skills rather then having the right items. Which would you be more proud of? Sitting behind a rock ranging a demon and sipping a prayer potion every 2 mins? Or having a epic battle with one of the strongest monsters in Runescape that can wipe your Lifepoints clean out if you make a single mistake? Hexiled Razz. Player since March 8th, 2005. Or having a epic battle with one of the strongest monsters in Runescape that can wipe your Lifepoints clean out if you make a single mistake? I'd actually be more proud of figuring out some mind-bending puzzle than relying on some random numbers and an invisible "Luck" skill to defeat a boss with weak, easily exploited AI coding. It might have frustrated me to no end, but I feel very good that I finished the EM3 sliding puzzle by myself, even better than defeating some of the "tougher" bosses on my own. QueenValerie
Monkey Madness was a fun quest I found it somewhat difficult but nothing like Morning's End ( Part 2 ) I swear if they make another quest like that I will ragequit... :wall: Seriously ME2 took me 1 whole week to finish that quest off, and my mind/body twitched for months after. Owned_Nex
Runescape quests are not hard if you do them with a balanced, "main" character. As long as you can get lots of random items, have basic combat stats, and have a higher IQ than room temperature, you'll do fine. BTW, to whoever said the D Scim is dated...it is not. Dungeoneering isn't a skill. I'm faster than bots at Sorceress Garden. PM me if you want to chat. My PM is always off. My keyboard is on fire. Want some?
