August 23, 200817 yr does anyone know where you can download a text effect for gimp that makes the text reflect, if so can you message me or post a link to the dl? I don't know if there's any tutorials, but I know how to do it. First, take your text or image layer, duplicate it and flip it horizontally. If you don't know how to create a layer mask, go to Layer -> Mask -> Add layer mask. Do this on the flipped text layer. A box should come up, just click add. Go to the gradient dialogue and change it from 'FG to BG' to FG to Transparent. Then just click and drag to make it fade out. Final product.

September 6, 200817 yr Rocky, you lost the border on one side for the Van Goon signature. And you didn't fix the avatar problem, it is still 9 pixels too high. You have to ask the avatar creator to change it, otherwise it becomes ruined. This one is with the border, and not taken that 50 pixels from only one side. Apparently, I have still got the border wrong, but I hope you like it. So I've noticed this thread's regulars all follow similar trends. RPG is constantly dealing with psycho exes.Muggi reminds us of the joys of polygamy.Saq is totally oblivious to how much chicks dig him.I strike out every other week.Kalphite wages a war against the friend zone.Randox pretty much stays rational.Etc, etc

September 10, 200817 yr TIF limit is 8 kb. But you just must save it to a different format, it might be a little loss of quality, but you can't resize it otherwise. JPEG is good for a try. (if you use GIMP or PS) So I've noticed this thread's regulars all follow similar trends. September 21, 200817 yr Dialogues (in the image window) -> Layers (If you don't have it open already) -> Right click on the layer -> Merge down. Or make sure you have the layer you want to merge down selected and go Layers -> Merge down. You can nearly always ctrl+Z, remember.
