August 20, 201015 yr Would be cool if it was used as a separate toolkit application, so it wouldn't need to run off of any additional internet browser, such as IE and firefox. Would also like to see this added to the adventurer's log instead. Simple to open that on a chrome tab and check it, along with everything else. -=EB World=--Sara - 13 hilt 43 ss-Bandos - 1 BCP, 1 Hilt

August 20, 201015 yr No thanks on the toolbar. I hate any and every toolbar. They only slow your browser down and take away viewing area. "He could climb to it, if he climbed alone, and once there he could suck on the pap of life, gulp down the incomparable milk of wonder."
August 20, 201015 yr Wow interesting, no need to log in to check your GE updates. Now all we need is being able to update the offers without logging in :D
August 20, 201015 yr I NEED this on my phone (HTC Desire Android 2.1) Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. If we let players start doing this, it devalues RuneScape for others. We feel your status in real-life shouldn't affect your ability to be successful in RuneScape" Jagex 01/04/01 - 02/03/12
August 20, 201015 yr Well, having a runescape toolbar makes me feel like even more of a nerd. But this things great, i don't even need to go to bank to check the status of my offers. O.O

I can try to use the Google App Inventor to make an app for android phones Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. August 20, 201015 yr This thing is awesome. The only annoyance is when I highlight stuff, the highlighted text goes in the RS search box. >.<
August 20, 201015 yr You can turn that off in the toolbar options. Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. August 20, 201015 yr I have figured out the xml data urls and authorisation methods so I could create my own or any other program for that matter Let us know plz. I can try to use the Google App Inventor to make an app for android phones [spoiler=Explanation] First of all it requires cookies to be enabled. You must first visit and login to get a key code generated and stored in cookie.http://services.runescape.com/m=toolbar/authorise.ws (this only needs to be done once every 14 days as long as you can store the cookies) This creates the following cookies:toolbar_code (generated key code), toolbar_username (Your RS Username) and toolbar_remember (true) on the runescape.com domain. When you visit the urls below, it checks that the username matches the stored toolbar_code on their servers then issues the correct data. (So you cant view anyone elses Information :shame:)The toolbar_code will not change unless you do a full de-authorisation on the site, the 14 day limit simply sets the cookie timeout to 14 days in the future. This provides the ge data for the tool bar, in the conduit menu format xml. (IT WILL BLOCK IF YOU ACCESS IT TOO OFTEN IE < 1 MIN, RECOMMENDED IS EVERY 10 MINUTES)http://services.runescape.com/m=toolbar/geupdate.ws This provides the activity data for the tool bar, in the conduit menu format xml. (IT WILL BLOCK IF YOU ACCESS IT TOO OFTEN IE < 1 MIN), RECOMMENDED IS EVERY 20 MINUTES)http://services.runescape.com/m=toolbar/activities.ws So as long as you can handle parsing xml, and the cookies you can create another program with it. Thanks Gradeskip93 for my awesome sig!

August 21, 201015 yr I have made a Chrome Extension using the Game Bar API. It should probably be classed as a beta but it seem stable enough https://chrome.google.com/extensions/detail/kjkcdfpmlgklbabeehmifkhoiakjnofe
August 21, 201015 yr I have made a Chrome Extension using the Game Bar API. Looks so much more convenient than the bar - and in chrome, great job! :)

So we don't have to randomly check... I skill. If you skill you should join.
August 21, 201015 yr Jagex needs to add this to their RS client, and Chrome.I agree completely. Yeah, I'm definitely going to use it when it comes out for Chrome. Sounds pretty useful. To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.
August 21, 201015 yr GE Update notifier? Awesome! I read that as nolifer! Really cool. Wish I could add more D&D's to the notification list though. (Missing Bert's Sand, Evil Tree's, Shooting star and Arhein's Shop.Agreed. It's not too bad for hogging browser space so far.

August 21, 201015 yr Sorry, I'm not trusting a first-time poster who posts a link containing everyone's hopes and wishes. Wise choice... Though, gotta say. If that chrome extention is legit itid be better than the normal one, seeing as it takes significantly less browser space. O.O
August 21, 201015 yr Sorry, I'm not trusting a first-time poster who posts a link containing everyone's hopes and wishes. Ok don't then <_< . I am a first time poster because I made the account to release this extension. To post on the chrome extensions gallery you have to pay $5, if my extension was found to be fraudulent it would be removed and I would lose my $5. If you would like to see the source code you can find it here: http://www.wjbd.uk.to/ext/rsbar.zip As I said on the details page, no personal data is even received by the extension. It doesn't even know your username because all the authentication is handled by jagex and the 3 cookies it created.

Although of-course apprehension is both understood and a good trait to have. ;) I'm very happy with it, fits in lovely.
