That is due to NPC limit. You spawned him the first time before you hit the limit, but after he "buried" something else spawned. You'd either need to clear some rooms, or log in/out.

FPS: Frames per second

Mem: how much memory is being used in bits

In: How much bandwidth is coming to you, out: how much your sending

Offheap: How much VRAM is being used

Cache: How much of the local area is cached, I would guess

Sometimes you also see something like:

particles: 4:1 (red)

- or -

particles: 4:16 (white)

Wonder what those mean (something like the number of effects, but what do the first and second num mean).

ALso it's funny to see the bad java carbage collection everytime doing its job!

On the topic of z-buffering:

I believe since they now use a generic algorithm there will be problems when displaying something with the same "Z" value. - An example can be seen when watering flower plants.

First they came to fishing

and I didn't speak out because I wasn't fishing

Then they came to the yews

and I didn't speak out because I didn't cut yews

Then they came for the ores

and I didn't speak out because I didn't collect ores

Then they came for me

and there was no one left to speak out for me.

Who cares about z buffering, i just realized i can mute the runescape loading music again!

OMFG ME TOO. I literally yelled "YES!" when I saw that little button.

Mine has always been muted (ever since you could first mute it).

You've been able to mute it for years.

You've been able to mute it for years.

you were for a period of time.

then jagex removed your ability to do so before logging in.

Now you can once again mute the music without logging on.

Mine has been off for years, no logging on required.

Then you got some lucky glitch. Like Morionic said, you used to be able to turn it off, then they removed the mute button for awhile, which was incredibly annoying. They just put it back in.

To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.

When they removed it, the sound setting was the same as it was ingame: so if you had ingame music off, your sound settings also became öff".

This is NOT true. My in-game sounds are ALWAYS off, yet I could always hear the opening music.

My in game sounds have always been permanently off, but whenever i entered lobby that hellishly bad music went back on.

But, its all good now :)

there was something weird: if it was öff" you could hear the music (yet the slide was completely to the "Mute" side.. And you had to move up and down the volume slide again.. Yet if it wasn't muted in game, the volume was th same in game
