Phew, I thought there was a server fire or something because I thought it may have been just several servers because the homepage still showed 28k players online. I lost connection (which is normal for me) but I could still use other sites which I thought was odd. Where did they mention it? Because I would have loved some heads up... The lazy asses didn't even mention a rough schedule on the main page of when what services would be down, and the entire site and game servers all just blinking out of existence is a bit drastic... When the server disconnects everything stops, so the dragons would have disconnect as well I believe, you should be safe. Oh btw, after closing the client and reloading rs, I logged in just fine. o.O That's probably how people are still playing I guess? Not down completely? :? Though I do think it's 9 somewhere in Russia now... Either way they lied; said maintenance was to be on Thursday, which it only is in the US, and they're a European-based company, so unless the date doesn't change until 6am or something now, they need to buy a calendar. They didn't even give us a 10 minute notice for this....I was at bandos 4 man. 1 person lost CLS + Bandos gear, I was lucky to get a grave bless, almost lost my rapier.I know a friend who got a rapier just a few days ago, and died at Brimhaven Steel dragons due to this, and he lost his rapier. And they call this [bleep]ing maintenace?!!?!! That's [cabbage]. Bit off-topic but for my time conversion I just went on the usual of my own (eastern time zone) +5 hours to get what I considered the UK time to be. Anybody care to enlighten me on whether they've abandoned daylight savings or if they change their time back to normal sooner? GF rune defender + 10m in gear and pots/yak scrolls. Thank God it doesn't remove the fury kit from the amulet when you die. (Keeping 4 items without protect item prayer ftw?) 99 HP, Attack, Strength, Defence, Summoning, Ranged, Herblore, Prayer, Agility, Magic, Slayer, Fletching, Fishing, Woodcutting, Mining, and Thieving.
