I made a new account a few days ago and of course had to do the tutorial unstable foundations. (I'm thinking of making a 10 hp quester on the side). In order to complete the tutorial you need to pick between receiving level 4 mining or woodcutting. This means that accounts with level 1 mining and woodcutting are essentially discontinued in "real" Runescape outside of the tutorial. While I'm positive I've got some of these accounts their names have long faded from memory. Do you think in the future we will see people billing 1 mine 1 wc accounts as rare? And do you own one?

 

This is assuming you can't skip the tutorial (I didn't see the option anywhere).

About a year ago Jagex has an ad on their homepage that said "Over 130 million accounts created". Say... 20M more between that time and the new tutorial and you've got 150M accounts made. So even if 1% of accounts have 1 WC and Mining (not unreasonable to assume seeing as there are gazillions of pures who don't train skills) then there are still 1.5M accounts with 1 Mining / Wc. So no, no where near what 9 HP accounts are.

I got a old pker with 1 mine and wc.

But the botting argument is a good point. Don't think this will ever become like 9 hp.

Never directly from Jagex but it's true. We have made posts on Maxed Forums about it and initially they were just locked and we were told Jagex didn't want us discussing it even on those forums, if one is made now it's just deleted or curiously disappear...

The botting method nailed it. I can't say what other unique stats are out there that will be considered "discontinued".

I have an account with 1 in both too, but I doubt it will ever be as 'rare' as 9hp accounts.

I believe constitution can be reset to level 5. There was a youtube video although I forgotten where it is.

I have an account on Tutorial Island, but since Jagex removed that feature of the game I've never logged back in for fear that the account will get teleported away off the island (where I thought the account would currently be I'm not sure, in some sort of limbo?).

 

I kept the account there because I wanted to have the richest bank on Tutorial Island (net worth already over a million before it was removed). :cool: So is there a chance the I could continue this pointless pursuit? :pray:

 

 

 

Oh and btw I have about a half dozen 1 mining 1 wcing accs (actually just pure blank accs with all stats at 1 except hp) so I don't think that these are so rare. :rolleyes:

Not sure what will happen if you start completing the tasks and what so ever. But if they don't want you to be on the island, why haven't they just removed it?

I have several accounts with 1 mining and woodcutting. One of them even has an easter ring.

 

But I think I am the only player who still has a pickaxe handle :)

i'm pretty sure you can't have a pickaxe handle, when jagex updated randoms, all pick and hatchet heas where converted into full pickaxes and hatchets, and handles disapeared

Handles are still in completed offers,in GE;you can't take it out though.

I still have an account on tutorial island with 4 smithing, but I'm not sure how special that is.
