The storyline is made up to fit the developed content...not the other way around. Who cares if it's inconsistent with things other Jmods have written? Consistent and interesting lore has never been RS' strong point.

 

Along with the drops, I'm hoping for Spiritual Mages that drop effigies so I don't have to skip those tasks :D

 

I'm also glad I hung on to the Zaros Coif I got from an elite clue a while back, should be useful for killcount. Ancient gear is unbuyable of course :)

I disagree (partly). I find most of the lore to be interesting, but not always consistent.

Tbh, the Third Age is one big open plothole, so I can't say I find the lore inconsistent here. It's a plausible (though clichéd :P) idea that more Zarosians have been locked up during this period. Going by the bts description, I also think this fraction of the Zarosian army has been sealed away right before the God Wars, while Zamorak was still in banishment.

 

 

Why a wyrm?

 

According to the Runescape wikia, Wyrms were used by Zaros as bodyguards, so that would make sense. It's also the only thing I can think of that could pass as being "majestic".

Oh yeah, I forgot that there might be a killcount required. Would they add Zaros monsters throughout the normal Godwars?

Might require 40kc from all gods to open the frozen door then an additional 40 Zaros kc to get into Nex's room.

 

Even if you could solo this boss, if it is like this it will put off so many people.

I think he means considering the initial crowd of people, getting the kc will be just about impossible.

Goblins for bandos, 2 pray pots max for arma, and sara and zam kill the mages and things outside. At most that'd be about 5-6 inv spaces used up for kc though.

Three months banishment to 9gag is something i would never wish upon anybody, not even my worst enemy.

200kc per banking trip would might make it worth it to use BoBs rather than a uni/titan. I don't really use yaks for any bosses except DKs anymore, as banking is so quick. If banking took a long time, it could make BoBs worth it again.

There's going to be 200 people getting KC, so you might have to use extremes to beat other people out.

With all the monsters in GWD and over 150 worlds, I don't think you'll have too much trouble trying to find a single monster from each faction to kill 40 times, especially if there is an 80/85 skill req just to get in.

I'd actually support a high dungeoneering level for the door...maybe not 120...but a fairly high level to make it a bit more exclusive and elite sort of content.

 

That actually would be pretty good, in my opinion. Sure, I'm not a boss hunter type of person, but if anybody I knew wanted to raise Dungeoneering to use the floor, then I'd hop in and have fun helping them. Win/win :thumbsup:
