RuneScape will be celebrating its 10th year in 2011 and wed like to thank each of you for making RuneScape the global phenomenon it is today.

In addition to the monthly prize draw detailed below, well be hosting a series of celebration events starting in January so that you, the RuneScape community, can celebrate reaching this incredible milestone with us.

 

To start the New Year off, we will be rewarding our fantastic and loyal community with the chance to win one of 10 cash prizes every month.

Well be drawing 10 lucky winners each month throughout the year and entry couldnt be simpler: for each day in a given month that your account has membership credit, youll automatically be given one entry into the prize draw.

For those of you who arent members, you can still enter for free by sending us a postcard, giving you one entry into the draw.

 

The first competition will run from the 1st to the 31st January, with the draw taking place in February. Februarys draw will take place in March and so on. For more information, click here.

Well anyway you probably have a 10x better chance of going to dust devils once a month, killing one of them, and getting a dragon chain than winning one of these prizes. I think a better way of rewarding loyal players would be looking at the backlog of how many months total each account has been a member and giving them one entry per month of membership for 12 months.

No, each month of membership will give you 30-31 chances of winning.

I don't see how people find it misleading. You have a chance of winning 10k, through winning 1k/month ish.
