February 11, 201115 yr Hey guys. I am a P2P player and as of right now I only have basic attack skills over 70 and cooking. I am looking for 3 skills that will really help me in the long run for training, making a little bit of money, skills which make you save some money, and overall "making tasks easier". What 3 skills would these be? Also, I don't really have too much money to spend, so I am hoping that the 3 skills cost under 5mil each to get to 70, but it is fine if they don't. I kind of need to find a new way to make money as well.
February 11, 201115 yr prayersummoning can't think of a third one that's exceptionally useful, i guess ranged How to Chin Nechyraels for fast XP and profit
February 11, 201115 yr magic, prayer, summoning. DK drops (solo/LS): 66 hatchets, 14 archer rings, 13 berserker rings, 17 warrior rings, 12 seerculls, 13 mud staves, 7 seers ringsQBD drops: 1 kite, 2 visages, 4 dragonbone kits, 3 effigies, lots of crossbow partsCR vs. CLS threads always turn into discussions about penis size....It's not called a Compensation Longsword for nothing.I've sent a 12k combat mission to have Aiel assassinated (poor bastard isn't even Pincers-tier difficulty).
February 11, 201115 yr Seventy herblore, summoning, and herblore will all help you with monster hunting. However, five million may not be enough to pay for them.
February 11, 201115 yr 1. Magic the ability to teleport and cast other useful spells is invaluable imo 2. Runecrafting provides a steady base of cash. Difficult to level but entirely worth it. Once you get past 70 you'll have enough money to fund other more profitable methods of making money 3. Another gathering or profitable skillSlayer, mining, woodcutting, fishing, hunter now you have 2 base methods of acquiring cash that you can swap between. Again, once you have a good base (10m) you can begin merchanting or killing bosses etc to get bigger profits. You can't merchant without a steady base. .... for the record 131 combat 2085 total lvl total wealth of probs 150m
February 11, 201115 yr magic, prayer, summoning. I'm not sure why you suggested prayer and summoning. How is he going to go about affording either of those? he'll end up broke. I only have 64 summoning and get by just fine.

February 11, 201115 yr Farming, Hunter, and Magic Farming will always yield profit if you do herb runs - and it's an easy skillHunter will give you a nice money maker at your level doing chinsMagic because it's just a good skill to have a high level in Obviously, I think you should try to get all your stats up quite a bit - but those are the 3 that I think would be beneficial to you
February 11, 201115 yr Yeah, you guys are naming skills that take million to train. Some super easy skills to level that would make decent money 1.) WC - super easy to train and yews sell for a decent amount2.) Farming - pretty easy to train - start planting everything you can in the beginning (vegetables/flowers/herbs/bushes/hops) then switch over to limpwurts + herbs once you can plant ranarrs to save time.3.) RC - hard to train but very profitabe - running abyss for nature/laws make a decent amount of money. However this is a notoriously boring skill to train. You can't really afk here - you gotta keep clicking and clicking and clicking :(
February 11, 201115 yr Well, 70 prayer is VERY important. As is 69 summoning, but just get 70 because. As for a third, maybe some skill that will make you profit to afford the first 2 skills. Look into it.
February 11, 201115 yr He stated he doesn't have much to work with. You never want to risk everything to train because you'll be stuck with no money. It's always a good idea to keep some money on hand just in case something big happens. There's no telling what could happen - getting prayer to 70 is a great idea but what do you really get out of it?However, a good idea is to get your prayer so that you can protect against everything. The one skill you really want is piety and that comes at lvl 90. Sure lvl 70 is closer to 90 then what you have now but it's not going to be a HUGE difference. However, skills like farming/rc will help you out right now.Honestly farming can be one of the best money makers a day. If you spend like half an hour a day farming (5-6 minute runes) that's at least 500-600k profit and that's barely doing any work. For now you can thieve the master farmer til you level up a bit - some of his seeds are worth a ton (namely Torstol). Plus leveling up some of these skills would unlock quests - some of which are pretty damn profitable. I don't recall the requirement for the two quests for manage thy kingdom but I would 100% put that as my top priority.

Herb runs are money making, not training, and RC is terrible money. DK drops (solo/LS): 66 hatchets, 14 archer rings, 13 berserker rings, 17 warrior rings, 12 seerculls, 13 mud staves, 7 seers ringsQBD drops: 1 kite, 2 visages, 4 dragonbone kits, 3 effigies, lots of crossbow partsCR vs. CLS threads always turn into discussions about penis size....It's not called a Compensation Longsword for nothing.I've sent a 12k combat mission to have Aiel assassinated (poor bastard isn't even Pincers-tier difficulty).
February 11, 201115 yr Herblore is a completely useless skill until you get ovl/extremes, don't bother to get it to 70 until you decide you're at the point where you need the new pots. Summoning is usefull, and it doesn't cost any money, as you can resell the pouches you make to cover the cost of the second ingredient + shards, possibly losing a little bit of money, but not much. You could get by without summoning though.... Piety is useful for killing things i guess. What tasks exactly are you trying to make easier?

February 11, 201115 yr Prayer, summoning, magic, and farming. Prayer for piety, summoning for tort/bunyip/fruit bat (like the other Obtaurian said, it's 500k+ an hour), magic for various useful spells and magic defense, and farming because farming is a constant supply of easy money (not sure if it's technically worth it at low levels, but whatever). Farming will help you make the money for the other three. Basically just echoed what most other people said. Oh well. To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.
February 11, 201115 yr 70 Ranged - Ability to wear Black Dragonhide / Karil's Armor68 Summoning - Bunyip70 Construction (Make gilded altar with stew) than 70 prayer Stuff like farming and slayer are nice, but nothing particularly useful happens around level 70.

Farming will help you make the money for the other three. Basically just echoed what most other people said. Oh well. I am so confused! Anyways to the OP: Personally I would go for: - 70 Mage- 70 slayer- 70 farming Mage for teles and a small Mage defense bonus is always good. Slayer will open more monsters for you to kill and give you a good way of training combat, slayer and summoning (charm drops) Farming will allow you to do more valuable herb seeds for doing herb runs. (making cash) If you have the cash however 70 prayer is extremely useful.
February 11, 201115 yr 70 prayer gives you piety - a great speed boost for all melee you do.70 summoning gives you the bunyip, war tortoise and fruit bat.70 farming gives you snapdragon herb farming - very good money.70 ranged gives you black dragonhide - great cheap magic defence.70 dungeoneering gives you the scroll of life - good for farming.70 hunter gives you juju farming potions - again, more cash. February 11, 201115 yr Get summoning, but don't use crimsons or blues while getting it, trust me you will want to save them for later when they give more exp. Get summoning with penguin points, gold charms and green charms gained through slayer which will raise your combat. After you get summoning use the rest of the cash you should have made from slayer to get 70 prayer and unlock peity. Also magic is awesome and adds a variety of things. Farming herbs is cool because you will profit so much. PM me in game anytime It's a lot easier then that for an idiot to sound smart on the internet. That's exactly what you're doing right now... just saying.
