January 4, 200620 yr the root of all evil by dream theater. good choice. on intros i prefer take the time by dream theater. its an amazingly complex peice of drumming... portnoy cant play it live... I realy liked the Octavarium begining. Yeah, it's very slow, but it's one of the few songs that in the begining, has a real calm mood to it. And the song it's self is great.
January 4, 200620 yr octavarium: that thing he plays is called a continuum fingerboard. its an amazing experience to see him play it. he played it live for over 5 mins on the intro to octavarium, all eyes were on him, never seen so many people interested in the player and the equipment they were using equally. -Destroy Topham-

January 11, 200620 yr It's almost impossible to list all the intros I like, and I don't really have any favorites I basically like em all the same, so I'll just list a few... AC/DC - Thunderstruck AC/DC - Highway to Hell AC/DC - Back in Black Led Zeppelin - Immigrant (the "A A AAA aa AAA") Led Zeppelin - Stairway to Heaven Led Zeppelin - Rock and Roll Led Zeppelin - Good Times Bad Times Van Halen - Jump Van Halen - Ain't Talkin Bout Love Eric Clapton (D&D) - Layla Eric Clapton (Cream) - Sunshine of Your Love Pink Floyd - Another Brick in the Wall Pink Floyd - Another Brick in the Wall part 2 Deep Purple - Smoke on the Water Guns N Roses - Welcome to the Jungle Iron Maiden - The Trooper Iron Maiden - Wasted Years Jimi Hendrix - Purple Haze Jimi Hendrix - Fire Ozzy Osbourne - Iron Man The Who - Baba O'Reilly Okay I'm bored...Almost all hard rock has an intro, and I'm basically all class rock and hard rock as you can see. All morons hate it when you call them a moron.-Holden Caulfield, The Catcher in the Rye
January 11, 200620 yr I think I may as well just make a list...There's really no point in choosing just one. There's too much good music with great intros. Metallica - Nothing Else Matters Metallica - Enter Sandman Metallica - Fade To Black Metallica - Sad But True Red Hot Chili Peppers - Under The Bridge Sublime - Pawn Shop Sublime - Summertime (short intro, but easy groovin') Eagles - One of These Nights Eagles - Lyin' Eyes Eagles - Witchy Woman Ozzy Osbourne - Mr. Crowley Ozzy Osbourne - Bark at the Moon There is another one that I like as well. It's not an instrumental intro, like most of the aforementioned ones, in my post and in others. The song is Boogie Woogie Wu by ICP. It's actually a speken word intro, done by Alice Cooper. I'll even post the intro for you all (don't worry, no cursing or anything). "The beast lives out of the raging storm in the dead of night The ravenous, blood-sick creatures searches for it's sacrifice Through the hideous darkness, it lurches, driven by death itself Only the satisfaction of slaughter will cause it to return to The darkness from which it came" Cooking and Fishing...My Journey!|Brawl Friend Code:1032-2280-0189Brush up on your Vocab: FreeRice.com|My Adoptables, Click Pl0x!!My YouTube Channel Thingy

January 11, 200620 yr I love the intro to Killswitch Engage's my last serenade..its awesome. Listen to it...now! Yeah its good, love that whole album. Another few good intros are Sin and Sacrifice by devildriver and of course Cemetary Gates by Pantera Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. If we let players start doing this, it devalues RuneScape for others. We feel your status in real-life shouldn't affect your ability to be successful in RuneScape" Jagex 01/04/01 - 02/03/12
January 11, 200620 yr The Buddha version of 'Carousel' by Blink 182 has an amazing bass intro. Not amazing in the way that it's really hard to play but just simple and very effective. This song made me like the band, listen now.
January 11, 200620 yr Can you make the font a bit smaller please Atticux, its still a bit big. Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. January 11, 200620 yr Muse - Sunburn Possibly the best piano intro to a song ever. Ya, Muse are experts in those exhilerating intros; there isn't a single other band that can make me play air-guitar as convincing as Muse. One of my other Muse fav's is Plug In Baby, that solo... yummie. The army marching opening fading out into the intro of Apocalypse Please is also sublime. Bill Hicks[/url]":dhj2kan9]Since the one thing we can say about fundamental matter is, that it is vibrating. And since all vibrations are theoretically sound, then it is not unreasonable to suggest that the universe is music and should be perceived as such.
