It's like wanting a toy with a happy meal

but that's the best part of the happy meal :(

Well - it's the only truly digestible portion of the Happy Meal, in any event ...

The toy is what makes a Happy Meal so happy. Without the toy, it's just diarrhea in a box.

Ew! LOL!

Only "stupid" requirement, which has nothing to do with the story-line was the thieving 1... I really dislike when they just plaster requirements on it..

Thieving was used in the Quest aswell...

sure it was, you were "captured". However that really, really is a thin line to incorporate a skill into a quest. - The quest is mainly about the creation of barrelchest armours - and hence the focus should be about smithing, crafting etc.

I don't think it would make much sense if you could escape from imprisonment in a locked room with no knowledge of how to pick a lock. Admittedly, that must have been a pretty tough lock if it was level 74, but the point still stands. It's not a particularly hard skill to train anyway.

I've always thought that Quests were the best part of the game. It's a pity that I've done them all. MOAR QUESTS PL0X

We should be allowed to repeat quests.

Pretty sure this was a lame quest. The only fun part of it was the seagull bombing raid, but even the controls on that were sluggish to respond. Oh and the zombie conveyor belt bit was pretty bad in fixed window.

Of course Jagex would know this if they actually played their own game.

The hell I'm doing wrong at the crabs? 4 hours and no blade. Do only certain crabs drop it? Must they be hit by the syringe?

Fairly certain only the crabs drop it. And no, they don't have to be hit by the rangers to be able to drop it because I trapped the rangers out of the room so I could just sit at the crabs and be fine health wise. While sitting in one room for about an hour and a half I got 3 of the blades. Seems that you're just unlucky.

99 HP, Attack, Strength, Defence, Summoning, Ranged, Herblore, Prayer, Agility, Magic, Slayer, Fletching, Fishing, Woodcutting, Mining, and Thieving.

Blades are still selling for 2M. This is quite easy profit, already sold like 4 of 'em.

If I wanted something to entertain myself for half an hour I would watch tv. Updates that don't bring permanent long lasting changes are a waste of resources

New stab based training weapon isn't going to suddenly leave the game.

Just because you personally won't use it, doesn't mean it isn't a lasting change.

As already stated, if updates were made like this...end game would have been made like 4 years ago.

Sue jagex for trying to make updates that people will find fun (and people DO find this fun, so sucks for you, they're going to keep making them)

You sure? I tried selling a few about 20 minutes ago at 1.8m each, and they took about 10 minutes to sell 4 of them.

Den, he never said it was a fact. Thus, it's clear that Ancient feels that people who enjoyed quests like that have a dull sense of fun. There's not much in that for one to say that the Ancient was stating a fact (when it's clearly opinionated).

If its an opinion, it shouldn't be presented as a fact.

I play this game for the quests and because I'm already playing for more than 7 years (yeah, that's really a reason for me xd), and honestly, I don't care about exp etc. I want some other experiences, like the cutscenes in a quest, the story itself, the graphics. That are for me the real rewards from playing this game. Not achieving level X in skill Y or getting item Z to get the best experience rates an hour. No, I simply play for fun, not for the grind, although you may find it odd that I got 36m in Hunter experience (got that when hunter was just released, it's just a relaxing skill in my opinion). So I may now be a person with a dull sense of fun, but I don't see fun in just training a skill for days and days on, only doing the same process over and over again to get a cape on my back.

Oh yeah guys remember, this is the internet. If you're going to express an opinoin, be sure to include "imo" or, if it's truely your honest opinion "imho".

I think they should at least make quests give more xp/hr than grinding the skills themselves to provide some point to doing the otherwise useless ones.

Seriously. That 5k DG exp is a slap in the face.

Why you blowing up this small little problem?

Of all the things to be picky about...you be picky about someone not including "imo" in their post.....

So do those brackish swords still sell for nice prices or are they beginning to stabilize or even drop?

I should say they are dropping, but I still got 2M from a lot of them. I'm still going to train there.

I tried selling one today for around 1M and it sold instantly for 1.5M so take away from that what you will :)
