I love the character, it has stats that i worked for and i made it a LONG time ago... I was thinking of revisiting the RS world for a lil while, but i just cant walk around with a DBZ name ever again... Has anyone ever had a name change on RS?

yep, i had an account called 'guthix str' was a pure, turned it into my main then decided the name was lame because guthix sucked.

So did you just roll a new char, or have the name changed?

I have wanted to change my accounts username countless times...

When I first joined Runescape 1 year ago I was EXTREMELY surprised to see that my name "hazardmaster" wasn't taken. I was adamant that such a name would be in use already? Thank goodness for idiots who have a small word vocabulary :P

i hate having the numbers after my name: xavier666 it seems so unoriginal. like once xavier had gone my brain just died to i whacked the keyboard and these random numbers appeared. (it wouldve been weird if i had done that and 666 came up... but thats a whole other story)

I'm totally sick of having Flipside 1, unfortunatly Flipside was already taken. The worst bit is, Flipside isn't even in the flipping highscores, it's a total waste of an account and a name.

and that it is original. I'm pleased with my RS name, which took

 

 

 

me a while to come up with (it is Sir_Hartlar).

Same with me, thogh I dunno why someone would like to be called "Lifelessone" but still, and right after I made my char. I met someone lvl 3 when I was lvl 4, name was Lifelessone1, lol

I'm happy to have both an original name and one i highly doubt i'll ever want to change :)

I have changed my account name 3 times by creating new ones. I like my current one (created in October) since he's called Necrobrawler, the necro part stands for my halloween mask that I wear and the brawler part is since I'm a Power Warrior on Runescape (60 att, 40 def, 68 str, 31 prayer)

Here's one for instance, say you get hacked, they change the name

 

 

 

of your player and you cant do recoverys.

 

 

 

Also all your freinds would be lost from you because

uhhh... You can't really "change" the name of your account in runescape, the "change" we mean is creating another new account with a different name =P

I made a new account called Combat Lemon so I could feel good about having an account with a cool name, but ol' Spongey will always be my main...

My name aint that bad, but i probebly could have though of better. My friend made it for me when i was a noob (he didnt even have the 30 seconds it would have taken to ask me what i wanted my name as! :x )

Name changing in RS would be very useful for lots of players, but I'm still happy with my name and never have any thoughts on changing it. =]

One of the things that pissed me off when I started playing Runescape was all the names I thought of where taken, but I was 10 and wasn't very creative. I finally found a name, Classicarmy. And To this day I still lijke that name, even though it isnt my account anymore :cry:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

First name I wanted was Loser Kid, but it was taken, and not even on the highscores as well.. :evil:

I always thought that it would be better if they assigned you a msnm type name, and a nn that you could always change... hence this problem is removed.

I'm in the same boat. I love my char and I love my stats, but I tire of everyone thinking I'm a guy because my name contains "Daddy" .. it's only natural to think I'm a guy because of it, but I wish I could change it to "Muffins_Own" or something else like that... :?
