AfkScape Posted May 17, 2011 Share Posted May 17, 2011 I'm not sure if this is just a coincidence, but I have 3 gold items so far and at least two of them (wasn't looking for it the first time) were obtained when I was the first person to start mining a spot. I think maybe there could be a limit to how many pieces you can get in a certain timeframe but that's speculation. Also, for those who don't know, there is a way to find out which direction the right place is. Once you know the channel, check a gauge and one gauge beside it. If the one beside it is lower, then keep going in that direction.Anyone know if the onyx rumours are true?Edit: actually it's usually faster to not talk to the guy to find out which channel to go to; just try all four around the center until you find one that's not 100%e2: yep just got my 4th piece and i was the first to that spot too... although unless I'm mistaken, one other person got a piece of armour there as well Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'm going to keep trying tomorrow, but it should seriously not take this long for a single piece.
