August 21, 201114 yr Oh look, this thread again.... :rolleyes: In all honesty, I don't beleive any -real- player will say they're for bots. They may enjoy cheaper buyables and such, but anyone who thinks about it for a second will realize that there is FAR more harm that comes from bots than the 'good' of cheaper resources. Not to mention that we're very close to surpassing the tipping point where the sheer number of bots will destroy the game. Most people will say it's already destroyed because of what Jagex is doing, but there is still hope, but we can't hold on forever and if the bot:human ratio goes up even a little more, I forsee an exedus of massive proportions.

August 24, 201114 yr yes some people will say that is makes supplies cheaper, but it also makes my profits cheaper, as I cant gather those supplies to make money either... So that is negated... So I am very anti bot, as it makes a lot of gatheriing skills like rcing, wcing, fishing, mining, etc... useless as it used to be that they were boring skills that leveling didnt help you do anything but make more money, now there is no point as these skills make little cash and have no point to them...

I have never botted and I've never even seen a botting website or anything like that, but I feel like I've just played rs for so long with botters and I'm not a big fan of change. They're a part of the game, and that's just how it is.

September 8, 201114 yr Coming from a purist standpoint, I'd rather all the effort I make in this game be my own. Yep, my own blood, sweat and tears. Into a VIDEOGAME. Oh yes.Oh and I really don't like the idea of mass scale resource collection by bots, but compare the prices of 2007-2010 to now. Sadly, their economic impact has helped me in most of my skilling, somewhat cheapening my achievement. In real life MMO you don't get 99 smithing by making endless bronze daggers.
