today i had someone tell me they were staff and had a report that i scammed a rune kite and rune scimy from another player. :roll:

 

 

 

they funny thing is, is that the only kite and scimmy i bought was from a friend and that was ages ago.

A noob came up to me while I was strolling past the Pheonix gang and said "Giv mi fre muni end i wil dubel it" So I said "Die!" and began whacking him with my rubber chicken. He actually believed that I was hurting him so he started walking away, and then after about 10 seconds he found the run button. I heard him say in the distance "Help my". This really cracked me up so I kept whacking him.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Even though I was walking and he was running, he still couldn't get away from me. The whole chase lasted several minutes from Varrock to Rimmington, when he logged.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I will never forget that. :lol:

I had one today offer to turn addy armour into rune armour for me.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I said I didn't have any, and he told me to go buy some and bring it to him... I left and he messaged me asking if I had the addy armour yet. So I told him that yes, I did have it, and the person who sold it to me had shown me how to turn it in to rune.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Whipped the rune plate out of the bank and went back to where he was waiting and showed it to him.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

"How'd you do that?" he asked.

 

 

 

"I thought you said you could already do it?" I answered.

 

 

 

"There are lots of ways, you show me how you did it." He said.

 

 

 

"OK, you need to use Zammy wine on it." I told him.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

So off we went up to the monks and he goes to grab the wine... I'm holding the door shut and the inevitable happens. I grab his stuff (junk, gave it to a newbie) and pmed him with "Thankyou for being a contestant on 'Scam the Scammer'"

A guy said six of the rocks in mining guild was given to him by jagex and he was staff, then i said "congrats you're reported for impersonating" him: woops, forgot that rule...

I pretended to fall for that once, and when i logged back in, the guy started yelling: WTF!!! You gave me a F**king TINDERBOX?!?!?!?!?!??!"

My friend got a PM in game from some guy who's name almost looked like "Jagex" but it was misspelled. He said that I had won a prize for being the "one millionth account" on Runescape and that if I gave him my Password and Username he would load my account with rare items.

Last time I got something along the lines: "I'm Jagex staff, give me your pass because you were reported, or we'll ban you" I actually played with him, told him my password was "klapauc1us" (everyone falls for that), and then report them and add them to ignore, but without telling them I did so. Then, if they get banned, they won't drop trade any valuable item to another account, but instead they'd lose all of it.

I had someone come up to me, and offer to give me a full free year of membership if I gave them my password. I reported them instantly.

This is one of the ost funna ones. I was selling my full zammy to this guy for 2.9m. I click accept when it is 2.9m. Then he changes it to 29k and then HE accepts. When he changed it my accept was cancelled. SO basically it was him offering me 29k for full zammy and I hadn't even accepted :lol:

I was mining in the mining guild and I recieved a PM from this guy with a name like E0n(lots of numbers). It read "Hello sir, I am a player moderator. Jagex has assigned me to ask you if you would like to become one too." I replied telling him no thanks, obviously knowing he was a scammer. He was probably one of those noobs that saw my red h'ween mask and wanted it. Then he begged me in PM's for ages pleading me to become a player mod which annoyed the hell out of me so I said "Ok where are you?"

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

He told me that he was invisible because he was a player mod, but I found him hiding around those trees east of the mining guild. He tried to run away too it was so funny. When I caught up he pretended that he became visible so we could talk. So we did and he went through all the free stuff, free membership and all the 'special powers' that you get for being a player mod, such as free phats and armour delivered to your bank every month. He just needed my pass so he could register me. I told him a fake one and he logged just about as soon as I said it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

When he came back he was like, tell me the real pass or i'll ban you. I noticed that he was wearing a set of rune. "Give me that rune and i'll tell you my pass for sure!" I said, he replied "Wow ok." Stupidly, he thought he wouldn't lose a thing because he was getting my pass. Wrong.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

After he found out that it was the wrong pass he begged and begged for my pass. He ended up giving me even more rune stuff, totaling about 400k worth altogether. This guy was so thick I felt sorry for him, but kept his stuff because he was a scamming noob. This isn't a made up story either, it's all true and very funny.
