Sure, video game streams get caught in the crossfire...But then again, they shouldn't really be breaking the law in the first place, even if the official copyright owners don't actively discourage it...they don't encourage it either, now do they? I mean, any company that wanted to bypass this law could just stick a 'Stream/Record live action taken from within the game' clause into the purchase agreement, as opposed to the 'Play' cause. This is just a case of people unhappy with the fact they are, and always have been, thiefs...Passing the creations of others off as their own.Sure, you 'Play' the game, but so does the AI...You don't see the AI making thousands of dollars in sponsorship...The people who really deserve the credit are the people who created the game in the first place, and if they haven't given permission then you don't have any right to show it.
