Squeal of Fortune + Buyable Spins

Recommended Posts

Mod Hobhein has gone so has Mod French and Mod Jon H. All community guys, they said that it was because of the hours change but who knows what the real reason is...

Nothing like WoW or any mainstream MMO out there, it's the new generation of MMO.

Nice that you've done your homework before saying stuff =)

I was quoting someone, not that it matters.

Take your "new generation" to Off Topic, if anywhere. Hopefully a mod can flush out this digression.

The only thing new about Tera is its combat (which isn't used to its potential due to slow-motion mobs that my 98 granny with cataracts could dodge). Everything else is cookie cutter go to Y and kill X rats MMO material.

And now its time to get back to RuneScape. If you guys want to discuss Tera Online more, you can take it here.

Also, the changed hours would make sense. It would also explain why all the night shift people (unless seven left, but I think she's still around too) are still there. They already have terrible hours.

They got changed so that more mods would be online during peak hours, that way they would appear to have more of an impact on the audience. (Instead of only being on during BST day time) But plenty of the community mods didn't like that change in hours.

Not sure if anyone saw this on Twitter... Was only made aware of this recently:

Gee, had I known this, I would have not used any of the spins I've gotten for free thus far.

Edit: For those who can't see it for some reason:

What the actual [bleep] Jagex.

Let's vote with our wallets by not buying spins! Methinks there is no option when un-subbing for "I hate that microtransactions can be used to gain xp."

I appreciate attempts to communicate more, like we saw with this FB post or the explanation for why they couldn't apply wheel spins for Quest Capers retroactively. But after waiting years for times like this, you set yourself up to hope that when they finally did shatter that ice, they wouldn't be absolutely asinine. Hell in any customer relations situation you would expect at a bare minimum logical answers and explanations.

Oh, derp. I was reading that as a FB explanation for why they couldn't apply wheel spins (more elaborate than the newspost). Sorry.

Not even an option 'disagree with game update' or 'dislike current game style' or anything that suggests Jagex might be the cause of you quitting.
