I was all awesome, 300 spins, and then I get to the bottom.

I read "Because you've been a long term loyal player who has been engaged in every area of the game, we have decided to punish you but not giving you anything." It's like their trying to chase me away now. I think that update can be summed up with that middle finger ASCII image that floats around on the RSOF every so often.

I think we need a new warning on the RuneScape home page"

I died to the necro twice in the Bilrach saga. I am not quite sure what I am doing wrong...

Focus on the behemoth. It'll eat the other two guys trying to heal itself.

Speaking of, I only got 90% on that one, missing the third checkpoint. As for the other, I think I was getting the the wrong memories.

Yeah, I logged on just because seeing Thok kill things is just too much fun.

I think he means..

[hide=]Lord Yusara, or whatever his name is, the necromancer who's memories you steal. Switch to the stab attack style, making sure you're actually using the sword and not punching him, should make short work of him then. Also, the special move just backstabs him and hits nicely![/hide]

We've removed some "set" objects from the Grand Exchange. The current version of the Grand Exchange allows all items listed to determine their own price, but some of these sets were struggling to follow the price of their components, leading to scamming, and feedback from you about the discrepencies.

They've just noticed this? I don't think set vs. component prices have ever been the same. Congratulations once again on not having any freaking clue about how your own economy works, Jagex. <_<

THE place for all free players to connect, hang out and talk about how awesome it is to be F2P.

So, Kaida is the real version of every fictional science-badass? That explains a lot, actually...

... "First set of occults"? What does that mean?

Just means floors 36-40.

Must have a plan for the "higher" levels occult floors for other sagas that come out in the future.

Wow, when I saw the update I was thinking "Sweet!" seeing as the only Achievement cape I have is a QPC. Then I actually read the details and was very disappointed. Oh well, perhaps next week's update will be better.....?

The Rs wiki (not official one) has a list up of all the things needed to 100% Moia's saga.

The one people are probably missing is you have to complete the saga without losing the portal power.

From going through that thing like 15 times I can categorically say:

Secondary Objective 1 = Achieving the full 950 lp. It is doable if you lose portal power, but only if you do so on the first warped room.

Objective 2 = Perfect interrogation games + perfect answers.

Objective 3 - I managed every single time so it has to be some combination of:

a) Go in all dead ends to trigger dialogues (but not the ones outside)

b) Try all the key/skill doors etc.

I don;t think Bilrach dialogue choices matter cause I seen others say they got 100% with different options to what I chose.

I like the sagas. Spins feel like another middle finger from jagex though.

Given how there is one pointy arrow picking terrible things instead of more desirable ones 95% of the time, it does make a good analogy.

As for the sagas, the Moia one is irritating me beyond belief.

Someone enlighten me to the scamming that was going on, not sure if I understand this. The price of sets and components were not the same (buying components individually =/= buying the set) but where was the scamming? People tricking each other into selling the parts separately and then selling it as a set? Is that considered a scam?

That wasn't even the scamming problem that was going on. The problem was that with some barrows sets were 1-2m more as a broken set than fixed and people were scamming doing that. The component way was uncommon.

Sets were general much cheaper than total cost of pieces.

People tricked others into boxing the set and selling it to them at market value.

They would then un-set it and sell the piece for fairly significant profit.

Yeah, this is also true of broken-fixed sets, because Jagex's pricing system is dumb. Items should decrease/increase in price partly based on how much sales they have (so that if there are GE offers sitting waiting to sell, but no one is buying that item at all, then the price goes down slightly). That would allow tracking more closely with supply and demand. It would also be insanely more complex to develop such a system without breaks etc.

I enjoyed the segas - Though I would enjoyed it more if the secondary goals for the lower levelled one was more clear. I definitely do enjoy the stories though. The higher levelled one I found more enjoyable.

Giving spins out for quests is just weird.. (I mean I wouldnt expect to get cw tickets or wtf for completing unrelated content.) Not giving them out to those who already done stuff is desperate. (Encourage people to do quests requiring them to pay membership - Those who already done it can just get their wallet out and pay for them. Since obviously they have already spent their time so jagex would gain nothing giving away freebies. Aka - desperate marketing from a customers perspective.)

The ingame advert is a bloody dum. I DONT CARE I GET TICKETS TO WIN 50GP!!! I hate the fact that we can win lamps.. Stop shoving it down my throat ffs. I hate the spinning wheel thing and the last thing I wanted to see when I logged in to do a farm run was a stinking advert about that >language< stupid wheel.

Just on the F2P side there were plenty of treasure trail item sets that could net 100k by assembling them, but I'm not seeing the scamming part.

"Fight for what you believe in, and believe in what you're fighting for." Can games be art?

I don't know about the new set, but I hated the original sagas. Never got through them because the whole system is so shoddily coded. Like many of the other non-traditional systems Jagex tries to code into Java: Bloated, laggy, and just about functioning.

ALSO...(im not sure if anyone mentioned it yet, or when/if it changed...but...)

Has anyone else gone to the "Buy Spins" screen recently? As if it wasn't crazy enough to see those $80 options on there before...it now appears they have reworked/bundled some of the packages and there is now even a 'pay $100 for X spins' Package in there now!

(also I wanna say some of the rl gp/spin ratios changed up alot too, favoring the $100 package way more then the lower ones...way more then the $80 favored the other lower ones before...)
