Wow, whole page because someone can't take a joke. Maybe the thread could be about 99 in all skills for a while instead of Jebrim's narcissism?

buyable prod. He'll burn out once he hits the slow skills.

Is this the first 200M in the game?

The Cooking highscores say no, not even the second :P

In real life MMO you don't get 99 smithing by making endless bronze daggers.

Weird: how even in the old version of rs with current population also a race to 200m starts... While it wasn't there in the real pre 07 rs. I wonder what made the population change so much over the years.

First they came to fishing

and I didn't speak out because I wasn't fishing

Then they came to the yews

and I didn't speak out because I didn't cut yews

Then they came for the ores

and I didn't speak out because I didn't collect ores

Then they came for me

and there was no one left to speak out for me.

I've been wondering about this too. The other day, I was trying to explain to a friend the much more casual gaming attitude the general rs population had before the 99 capes came out, but he couldn't really grasp the difference with the current attitude.

The simple fact of the matter is that the 07 players are coming into it with years of rs knowledge and years of changed attitude to the game as well. They were bound to just transpose it to 07. Hell, I'm guilty too, in just a few months I've built an account on 07 that took me like a year back in 2006.

I think it's too bad we didn't get a version of RS from before the 99 capes were introduced. Then again, maybe the 99 and 200m "disease" is so embedded in the players' minds that the absence of capes wouldn't have mattered at this point anyway.

I believe that when originally 99s were more sparse, they were more stigmatized as signs of being a nerd - and that may have been well-founded in the then period of youthful accounts. But with the coupling of accounts aging, and skilling becoming gradually easier, the stigma for the most part alleviated. When skillcapes came along they were the final step, by making it easily observable that the people we look up to have 99s, and are actually cool, alongside providing a replicable way to emulate their coolness.

I think a similar process occured with 200Ms, and in a game where showing off and impressing others is paramount, 99s & 200Ms are now just appreciated as being an efficient means to that end.

I think everyone was in middle school and that they weren't allowed to be on for longer than a short period at a time so they always remained low stats. That and nobody had any sense of efficiency. And everyone pked.

How true. I just hit 1337 total at combat 67 with 6 skills over 70 - and it's been like, what, 4 or 5 months? I started playing originally in 2004, and hit 1337 total at lvl 68 combat in late 2007. Like post GWD release 2007. I really kinda also wish that they did a pre-skillcape build, but, I really doubt it matters at this point.

That's pretty impressive, do you know what method he used?

I don't know, maybe something along the lines of what N0valyfe did which was this:

01 to 35: misc arrows and bows

35 to 40: willow shorts

40 to 70: willow longs

70 to 85: yew longs

85 to 99: yew longs with fletch X

99 to Max: bought magic logs and strings via forums

They are not but if they were how would you assume he would make the billions needed for broads anyway?

Probably did mage/yew longs. Bolts obviously best option but way to hard to buy/sell the amount needed for any significant xp.

When I saw him a couple weeks ago, he was stringing magic longs.

canifis.png

Was averaging around 20k Xp/hr slaying with Chaeldar and no firecape. This isn't as slow as I expected it to be.

Jabberwoky has had some nice runecrafting gains...second only to a bot this week.

Jabber also has the highest total level so far, passing the now banned Razzeh at 2k.

That's not a bot, that's someone using runners. Also Jabberwoky clearly has slowed down if he's getting the weekly gains I was when Runecrafting.

And yay Airan Testin has been banned! Took long enough for Jagex to permanently ban that known botter.

There may have been confusion as to who I was talking about, but the person who currently has the most runecrafting xp for the week is no longer showing on the hiscores. He had mutliple bots running and trading with him.

Jabber is also crafting. But yeah, don't think he's still pulling those 16.5 hr/days.

Just a reminder everyone, accusing people of botting (or any form of cheating for that matter) is not allowed, no matter how suspicious their xp gains may be.

If someone is banned for it, then you may discuss them all you like. But until then, everyone must follow our Naming Names rule.

So, Kaida is the real version of every fictional science-badass? That explains a lot, actually...

Okay, but Pantherzebu was banned earlier today. He was banned before I wrote the post too, so I'll say it again. Pantherzebu was a bot that had bots running him essence at the nature altar. Also, I didn't conclude he was a bot due to his XP gains. I traded him ingame a dozen times and he'd always do the same strange thing when I did so.

Dear Foot --

I tried messaging you in game as well as through your site, without luck. I see an error in your graphs on crystalmathlabs. As an example, Jabberwoky's graph for total level shows 2011, however he only has 2004 total levels. Jebrim's graphed levels are also inflated. I'm only giving a heads up to let you know that some calculations somewhere are incorrect. I hope this is not too far off topic since it pertains to a tracking site ran by a top 5.

And Kaida, the only person directly accused of botting was in fact banned. If anyone follows the 'rules' to a T, it is Jebrim. So please ease up on your trigger finger.

This is not an error. What is graphed is virtual total levels, not skills clamped at lvl 99. Jabberwoky has lvl 103 defence and lvl 102 hitpoints.

Donate plz should serve as an example to all top players. This game is pointless, and ought to be quit outright.

ppl are saying jabberwokky (spelling?) got 2 day auto ban for botting
