i infact told someone(another rs player who rearely visits this forum) of his death, and who they were and that they died, their response was simply, what did he drop? and i was like wow, at first and kind of like jeez but then i told him the whole story and that he was REALLY dead, and he was filled with remorse.

The loss of my best friend in the virtual world...We've been screwing around together for almost 1.5 years :(. I remember January 12th being the last time I heard from him. He kind of seemed down...now I know why. He was extremely generous and...I just do not know what to say.

I only wish I'd known him better.

I feel like I almost shouldn't post, considering how little I knew of Shiva, but I can't help but feel a loss even with my lack of interaction with him. I'm obliged to at least comment on him, though I only knew him through his posts on this very forum. Respectable and generous are the best words I can come up with to describe the character I gathered from him before this tragedy. It's been said numerous times already, but he WILL be missed greatly in this community and from what I can tell, many others as well. I only wish I could have gotten to know him personally on some level, so that I could pay more appropriate final respects to someone that seems to have been such an influence in this community.

This is horrible....but I think it mightve been murder, mystery cases are always intriguing....but shiva will be missed :(

I am going to miss shiva so much. He brought tons of fun into TET, and gave me a person to talk to when I needed to talk. No friend could replace Shiva, and I hope his life in heaven is happy.

This is unbelievable, Shiva was just one of those people you expected to see around the forum, making his valuable and thoughtful contributions wherever they were needed. It's hard to imagine him not being here, not making the forums a better place with his presence, he'll be sorely missed.
