---Portable Anvils---

if you support say yes

Since I had to kill the Sara Mage to get this, I think it classifies as a "drop"

I got real stuff Take notice of the black helmet T and the studded chaps G

x_bow80

Rofl, that is a lvl 1 clue, so u dont fight any sara mages

Oh my goodness. I once thought of a silly idea called Mystic Hammer which would smith a bar of some metal into an object that you could normally smith. It was funny because it would have completely destroyed the balance of things.

I'd say yes because it would make smithing a whole heck of a lot easier (Bring nature runes, fire staff, pick axe, portable anvil and you've got yourself one easy arrangement). But I officialy say no because Smithing is supposed to be hard, the skills are supposed to be difficult which is why asking to change them hardly ever works.

lmao

somebody that wants easy levels fast.....

No, smithing is one of the few skills that isn't easy. Only if you have money ofcourse.

Keep it this way, smithing and especially mining are hard skills, for the real people who like to work for their skills.

no, its really frustrating when people try to have ideas that will give them an edge in a skill. Like that wieldable fishing equipment. Don't try to make skills easier to lvl up, it would just take the fun out of lvling

i say no because otherwise mining ant smithing would be easy and there would be no challenge in it

i mean what is the point of runescape if its so easy

we might as well call it easypuffscapeforbabieswhodontliketoworkhard

This is one of the most idoitic things i have heard besides George Bush.

How on earth could you carry an anvil around?? This is just a stupid idea, further more you have not put foward any ideas about a portable anvil, you have put no thought into this you Gormless Fool!!!

permanantley muted for offensive language! pwnd some noobs though XD

i know why you would carry an anvil around so you you could drop it on idiots like the guy who made this topic heads

i support this topic 0%

First of all, pushing aside all of the obvious massive experience gains per hour that would come from that; just how the hell are you going to lug around an anvil that probally weighs literally a ton?'

And there is also the fact that you could set it up in Port Patahsmas (lol never could spell that right) furnace place, then grab a bunch of bars, smelt and smith them right there.

Bad idea.

I like this idea a lot i say 2 thumps way up :D

No way. This would totally unbalance things. Hard working miners and smithers of today would be totally put out of business by these. it would be way to easy to gain smithing levels.

If you want us to support your idea you at least have to give us some reasons instead of a simple post lacking detail such as yours.

Anyway I do not support the idea, smithing is already easy enough as it is with smith X without their being portable anvils too. Runescape is supposed to have some difficulty to it and suggestions like this will just make people more lazy.

reportbuttanerfb6.gif

This idea was part of a satirical piece somewhere where Guthix supposedly jokes that his invention of the portable anvil would destroy the Runescape economy.

(This was back when smithing was a significant part of the RS economy.)

The only way that this could work is that the anvil becomes gradually damaged as it is used until the point where it needs to be repaired which will cost a large amount of cash

RSN: Ste_Boz

hehe... dont get lazy... just walk 10 staps :P

i dont play anymore... i think rs is ruined

how funny, i was thinking the exact same thing a few months ago

but its not going to happen, it would make smithing to easy.

IF there should be portable anvils..its should be available to people of 99 smithing. This will be fair lol.

dont ask about portable furnace lol.

How about a portable minning city in my top pocket? And a blast furnace in my back pocket? I could have little men running it for me :)

Sounds good ey

Of course there should be portable anvils, available from ACME. Although they are no good for smithing, they are great for dropping on peoples heads.

This is a terrible idea.

If you want to have an anvil close by it really isn't that hard. You mine all the ore you want, teleport to port Phastymas and do all your smelting there, if you are f2p do it at al kharid. Then go to Varrock to smith.

Your true character is what you are like when you believe there are no repercussions.

Sounds wrong, so does the idea of portable anvils.

You do relise I was been sarcastic...

I think anvils are close enough to banks that they dont need to be portable, would make a challenging skill to easy
