Using the new grapple that came with the crossbow update, the fastest way to get to the harpie bugs now is to use a glory to teleport to Karamaja, then go south of the volcano and grapple the trees.

I have 85 attack, 84 strength and 84 defence, do you think it would be possible for me to safely melee gargoyles with guthans or would I be better off with use the safe spot do you reckon?

Gargs hit very hard at your stats, either dharok them with prayer, or use the safespot with range mage or hally. But s I say in the guide, i personally buthoorpe them.

I found a good safespot for Fire Giants in waterfall. In the area where u finish the quest.

 

 

 

The door u enter which has a key respawn. Infront of that.

And thnx for the Bloodveld safespot. I hated what I had to do wiv Elves runnin back to alter every kill. That was annoying.

 

 

 

EDIT: Also steel arrows work fine on Bloodvelds.

Wow, you own. I loved this guide ever since I first read it, and I read it all the time. I never realized how kick bum Dags are with cannon. I did an assignment of 166 in 15 minutes.. :shock: I'm only 65 slayer, but this guide helped alot! Alot of the spots are very useful. Everyone should bookmark this guide.

This guide is AMAZING. it has gotten me from 40 slayer to 52 very easy.

 

 

 

 

 

Although i'm leve 95 i find 52 slayer an acchievment as i have never been to fond of this stat. I myself with you would make another guide in someother stat. =D> =D> =D> =D>

you cant canon the dust devils succesfully. if the cannon shoots a dustie who is NORTH of you, the dustdevils can attack you then, the safe spot only works for the dust devils who come from the south!!

 

 

 

so no canon if you want to range!!

Cannon only helps with meleeing the dust devils to get your assignment finished faster, like dagganoths. Ranging you just use the safespot and range away.

Wow. alot of info here. I just have one question. Since im broke and cant afford arrows or runes, or want to go throught the time makeing them, what tasks should i skip since im only going to be using mele. Im using a whip currently.

Quick tip - if you fight lessers in Taverly dungeon, there are lots of bones that line the walls, meaning you can use Bones to Peaches to stay there for any length of assignment even without guthans :)

If you have enough to spare to buy maybe 20 bones to peaches I'd suggest doing infernal mages. The amount of runes (deaths, bloods, elementals) will pay for twice, if not more, then you spent on bones to peaches.

 

 

 

Then again, if you don't have bones to peaches forget what I said :)

This has to be one of the best guides I have ever come across. You've clearly put a lot of work into this and it helps me to no-end when I'm hunting down the slayer assignments.
