But Yea looking back at rsc you wonder.....why was i playing that? and know I know....BUNNY EARS AND SCYTHE WOOOOOT. Heh....its sad in RSC it took years to hit combat lvl 100 now addic....dedicated players can hit it in no time. I Still haven't hit it but I also Now have a Life. And I retired for 5 months and gave away over 80M. But the past is the past the Future is well now its the past i took too long to type it. I grew up on classic, and seriously miss the pking. In a cruel twist of events, because of jagex's ban-thing, my main is banned from classic but my pure isn't Anywho, back on topic. This pic is pretty sweet, do any guides of rsc even remain? I remember when the best training on rs was hobgoblins :lol: 10k exp an hour was insane...now with full dharoks it's like, what? 80k+ an hour? *Sigh* Rs2 products will never know how easy they have it. :^_^: I drew that smilie, btw, along with a few more used by this site.Classic bloodveld for lyph3! In my eyes, games like Phantasy Star , Super Mario Bros., Castlevania, Megaman "own" the newer stuff in terms of game play and fun. But, anyhow, I played RSC once after I had been playing RS for awhile. I don't see how anybody with an objective view can say that RSC isn't awful compared to RS. Everything is painfully slow and the graphics are just plain horrible. 2D people in a 3D background is just goofy looking. I'm glad I started on RS. :D Exclusive Legacy Mode Player He just successfully trolled you with "courtesy" and managed to get a reaction out of you. The only thing I would do was mine iron ore at the varrock mines, smelt it in Lumbridge, smith the bars in Varrock, and sell the results to the nearby sword shop. I made an astounding 12k off of that, then I learned of coal certs. I also still remember getting my first r2h and hitting my very first two digit damage on a black knight by the black knights fortress. Sometimes I wish that Jagex never came out with rs2. After rs2 was released, the community just seemed to go downhill. The norm of people going out of their way to help you was soon replaced by frequent scamming and the bad-mouthing from others if you had one skill lower than theirs. I quit as soon as RS2 became dominant, I came back after a year for a few months but now I've quit again, RS2 just doesen't have the same appeal. The majority of people were kind and would try to help another, people wern't rude like they are now. leveling was a challenge, now its just so easy, and there was never really a way to get 99s in everything, because trainging was so much harder. But ...rsc, is appropriately named classic ... because it is a classic. And I agree, very hard to explain unless you were in on it ...something to do with it's honest simplicity. We were all grateful with what we had, that we didn't expect or beg for updates or more ...it was free, and generally reliable ...you were able to make real friends. the community was smaller ... your reputation was important, it didn't matter how you gathered that rep ... as a savvy trader, feared pker, high skill miner or smither, even your knowledge base was respected.... networking was easier to form and became very important as many players had really only played long enough to develop high levels in a few skills. I guess if I started in RS now and really enjoyed it, maybe in about 3 years from now, I might look back and say.."wow, wish we could go back to RS in 2006". I challenge myself to get 85 magic, within the week i have it, its just too easy.
