I would have (and still would) do the same for my last gf, we broke up about 2-3 weeks ago. I still love her though. Nobody would dare do that to her though because im one of the bigger kids at my small school and I could kill pretty much anybody there so that wouldn't happen... I can "DEFINITLY" tell you're also one of the stupider kids at your small school which you could kill pretty much any English teachers expectations of you. You know, I really don't understand these kinds of kids. It's like the classic metaphor of "I'm big so i can beat up anyone!" hasn't been played out enough, you just had to enthuse everyone with your mindless banter so you can show everyone here, on an online MMRPG forum, how much of a bad boy you really are. Well congratulations. Not only did that idiot get a free pass at his girlfriend (albeit a painful one), but now he's also thoroughly enjoying his last laugh.

 

He single-handily caused...

 

 

 

Three broken knuckles that had to be stitched up.

 

His medical bills payed for.

 

A 15 day suspension.

 

Assault charges laid.

 

Tough months ahead for not only his relationship, but also his and his girlfriends life.

 

And the most important of all for those who frequent these forums, a retirement drop party rescheduling.

 

 

 

For the cost of admission (broken nose and fractured bone above his eye) I'd say, that's one hell of a show!

 

 

 

I'm not trying to rag on Sk8, hes going through enough right now. However, he doesn't need anymore fools blindly and ludicrously rushing to his aide over having done the wrong thing.

I hate to say it, but you should go to jail (or whatever they have for minors). I honestly hope you do, maybe you'll learn something from it. I also hope you have to pay for the other guy's repairs. Hitting the guy doesn't make you a good man, it just makes you someone who can't control his temper. What he did was wrong, but what you did was much more wrong.

Sexual harrassment is not a crime - only in the workplace is it an issue. What the guy did was rude - and perhaps borderline assault (no pun intended) - but not illegal.

the guy was "innocently" flirting/pestering your girl (as in no malice or sexual gratification)

 

and/or

 

the guy did it purely on accident

 

OR

 

you had a doubt about any of the above

 

 

 

then you should have controlled yourself, spoke with him, and saved everybody an unnecessary hassle.

the guy KNEW who you were

 

AND

 

the guy KNEW who she was to you

 

AND

 

the guy did it on purpose

 

AND

 

it offended either you or your girl (obvious but still important to note)

 

AND

 

you did NOT do something similiar to HIS girl and this is retribution for that

 

AND

 

the guy is a comparable or better physical specimen than you (no pounding on 6'8" guys with downs or 4'2" guys with asthma)

 

 

 

then you had EVERY right to knock him on his keister. Reason? He crossed a line that you obviously hold close to your heart. If she was not important to you then you would probably not thought twice about it. In this situation the guy made a PHYSICAL attack against both you and your girl. He OBVIOUSLY intended to recieve or to APPEAR to be recieving sexual gratification from the contact. He started a physical confrontation and you finished it (if the above example is yours). I congratulate you on that. IF he had merely made a verbal pass then you should have responded with a verbal rebuttal. Do not let the people who cannot or will not defend the people important to them from physical attack make you feel poorly/guilty for doing so.

 

 

 

(side note: Where would we be as a people if we let those capable of unprovoked violence walk all over us? Nobody would be free thats for sure.)

 

 

 

 

 

For those of you who need an example that is exaggerated and probably closer to home for some:

 

A stranger of your same age/weight walks up to your sister and grabs her breast. Would it be wrong to protect her? Or would you allow some pervert to get their jollies at your little sis's expense? You would do exactly what you should do: everything in your power to prevent that from happening again.

 

 

 

Sk8 if your situation does not fit the second example please take some anger management so that you can have a more stable life. If it DOES fit however, feel content with the knowledge that your girl will be safe from at least one more jerk's physical affronts and that you have the balls required to do what is right when it's needed.

I'll try not to add so much more to this discussion, because honestly... I'd rather see this dumbed down thread be locked and removed... but let me just say I totally agree.

 

 

 

I hate when people come here and try to impress people saying they can fight. Anyone can fight. But it takes a great deal of self discipline to know when to and when not to use your fighting skills. This case was obviously one that you SHOULDN'T be fighting.

 

 

 

And its getting extremely annoying, seeing every other moron coming here trying to justify such actions. Where if you really gave a damn, you'd be contributing to explain why what s8ter did was wrong, and how next time to handle the situation.

 

 

 

This entire situation is a HUGE learning experience for anyone who thinks he was right by reacting in such a way. Because the FACT is, he was wrong. And yes... even as wrong (or even more so) then the person who violated his girlfriend.

 

 

 

Maybe jail would have been the right thing. Imagine a 16 year old, scared out of his wits in jail... I bet he'd think twice about making the same mistake again. And I'm not saying that to be mean (before you children decide to get on your high horse)... I'm saying that because he NEEDS to learn his lesson.

 

 

 

And just so I'm not making this so one sided... The guy who violated his girl should have the book thrown at him as well.

 

 

 

In closing... anyone who thinks they can beat anyone up just for the simple fact that they're bigger... needs to seriously get a life. The biggest talkers are ALWAYs the biggest losers.
