Random Events - Getting them FAST

Someone just posted the usual 13 Year old version of a theory for Random Events, he teleports and gets a random, so teleporting gives more randoms.

 

 

 

If you REALLY want more randoms then I found out a few little pointers to help you on your way. Now before I had used my first method I had not had any:

 

 

 

Evil Bobs

 

Freaky Foresters

 

Frogs

 

Drill Demons

 

or

 

Quiz Masters

 

 

 

After, I had had a lot of all of them in 1 week

 

 

 

Method Number 1:)

 

 

 

This was a total accident. I wanted to do my slayer from 60 -70, and I had 5 days to do it so i got full guthans out and went on Troll and FG missions and so on. At the time of this I was playing a text based clicker game called Shimlar. All I did was click on my FG or Troll or Shadow W and then click on my clicker game.

 

 

 

I was getting TONS of random events, I had 2 evil bobs in 1 Troll trip. Freaky Forester Mime and Quiz master on a single FG trip and insane amounts of others all of the time.

 

 

 

Now, I realised that there is obviously a link between Clicks per Minute (or hour, whatever) and how many random events you get, which if you think about it is common sence as people using programs dont have them doing needless clicking, so the way to find them is to random event people who dont click much when training.

 

 

 

I tested this at a different place. I went cooking at Catherby. Set up my screen so I had to click about 6 Times per trip and I got a random event at LEAST every 3-4 trips. I ended up with 5 genie lamps two days ago just seeing how many I could clock up :)

 

 

 

It's simple, and lots of people already know all this. But if you want your own full Sets of the Random Event gear then this is how it is done! Get guthans, find something to read http://www.wikipedia.org is a good place to start, and only click when you need to.

By the way evil bob got me as i try to teleport from dagg kings. You can still click teleport again and get to the location you want to but evil bob follows you. :(

Do the sudoko ( rogue trader minigame). I get a random after every puzzle, and really cheap runes.

I meant Evil Bob came when I was at Dagg kings and I clicked Cammy teleport again and teleported to Cammy but evil bob was still beside me and he took me to his island :(

I had never had the quiz thing until a week or so ago. When I finished a trip at the daga kings, I tried to tele and got a quiz for the first time. The following run to kings, I got another quiz when I tried to tele. That's the only two quizzes I've ever gotten, both in like an hour. Coincidence?

I think there is defintely some truth to this, I don't get random events very often, but when we are down at the dag kings and I'm maging rex or ranging prime, me and my buddy always get at least one zombie (the one with the coffins) per trip. There is very little clicking that goes on down there and this is the only area that I have ever gotten this random. I'm also gonna go out on a limb here and say in the past 10 trips I've done, when i tele'd out I got a random event 50% of the time. This include, MOM's, Strange plants and swarms, not just the cool ones where you get special gear. Now that you bring this theory up, this makes quite a bit of sense to me as when I am down there, I'm there for 2 hours doing very little clicking hence, when i tele I figure I have a 50/50 chance to get a random.

The reason it does this is for autoers. Sometimes it clicks over to the program running the script

Old news.. each click you do has a chance of random event. God it was heaven when I was cooking in the old days (before cook x) time consuming yes. But got a load of mimes + mazes :)

the other guy was trying to say that clicking less gets you more randoms, not the other way around. read the post

If you want the Zombie random event a lot just go to Steel/Iron Dragons. I got 5 Zombie randoms in 1 trip (occurs when you bury bones, in this case, Dragon Bones). Then I went back and got it a bunch of times again the next trip :shock: .

i made about 4000 iron bars in past using ring of forging, but i had around 20-40 mazes.. grazy isnt it? :D then had half youasr break after another lol

lucky you, the only random iv had in two weeks is the evil chicken twice, leo once and 6 quizmasters, to go with my previous four quizmasters, i hate that damn quizmaster so much.

last time i read a post like this is was how to get mimes and mazes of mysterious men instead of just boxes, you had to have a full inventry. While i just finished getting full invent and finishe dreading post, i got a maze.

 

 

 

 

 

Now, while reading this post, i got a frog token. Just proves it works.

 

 

 

EDIT: I used the saem srategy again, and went to get a drink. I come back with miles in my chat screen saying fine, dont help then with all my items notted. this happened within minutes of using the stratigie.

That is totally true, doing the large puzzle might take 15-20 min, and for us puzzle lovers, it doesn't seem that long, and after almost every one, you will end up with a random event. Not totally sure about the time taken, but after doing 9 puzzles I had 5-6 events. The cheap runes were a plus too.

in m madness, when u have to solve the puzzle to make the pict, there were ten of us and each time each of us finished, we got a random

 

 

 

I think becuase you clicked so much. I got mime, but i feel srry for the guy that got the evil chicken and couldnt find the teleport pad

I've been training ranged/prayer at goblin village for two days now by picking up the goblin bones and burying them, and for some reason I always get a random event from the burying whenever I bury the first bone of a full inventory, and always once every 3-5 inventories. I've tried to get an inventory full and then repeatedly burying a bone and then killing a goblin and burying its bone to fool the game into giving me more events, but that doesn't seem to work.
