June 7, 200620 yr Yes, useless topic, I don't care. Used to say "Admnt Warhammer" instead of "Addy warhammer". I think that's the first time I noticed Jagex using the word Addy instead of Adamant. Anywho.. back to slayer.. 99 Slayer since August 2007.

June 7, 200620 yr yes, ive noticed jagex has started using shortened words in manyplaces, such as "KBD head" and "KQ head" in carpentry, and theres more. Lastfm
June 8, 200620 yr Damn it, they're under the influence of players overuse of acronym(like AIDS is an acronym that stands for Acquirede Immunal Defficiency Syndrome) for something that could just be spelt correctly with just two or three letters. "KBD and KQ head" is understandable cause it would be way too long- but Addy!!!? Instead of just saying Adamantite back in RSC, they changed it to Adamant even though people were using the term Addy back in RSC just to be lazy and now they've finally done it. It doesn't really matter but it bothers me. They took away three letters from Adamant and made it Addy...-.-
June 8, 200620 yr Yeah...Jagex definitely sold out with the "runite" --> "rune", "adamanite" --> "adam" --> "addy" thing. I hate it. :(

They only changed addy warhammer. It is possible that adamnt warhammer wasn't an error after all. Item names have limit and adamant warhammer would go over that limit, since these are two words. All these years I've been thinking it was a spelling mistake, it was just because it would be over limit. Medium is a long word that's why the used med same story for helm.
June 8, 200620 yr actually i noticed that probobly 10+ months ago when i still trained slayer the warhammers say addy but meds will say admant it most likely has something to do with the ammount of space and letters that the item is so that adamantite can fit some sort of way in all there items :roll:
