how will the world end

The world will end, but we won't be here. We might already be dead before the world ends, or we might be on another planet screwing that one up aswell.

Right now the most possible end is the Flooding of Land due to Global Warming

the Ice in the North and South pole are Melting as we speak.

:shame:

actually its been worked out that a total meltdown of all the ice at both poles would result in a global increase of sea levels of something quite small like 25-30 feet or something. So while alot of major cities eg London, and some countries (sorry Netherlands) will be swamped, many people would survive.

I think Earth will deteriorate over time due to what we do, and accidents that could happen(natural disasters, asteroides, wars..)

Bah, doesn't matter. We all die.

The world will end when the sun engulfs it.

Humanity will end when our egos engulf us.

Global warming exists, but no one can say for sure that what we are experiencing is because of OUR doing or a natural warming. The Earth continually goes through warm and cold stages, and we are in a warmer state right now.

Ozone can build up, yes. Does it? Yes. And, yet, over the past two centuries, we've only experienced a net increase of about 1 degree. So at this rate, we'll all be dead in about 600 years.

And no one cares about what happens in the next 600 years since we won't be alive at that time anyway.

I'm currently transitioning from a Wizard to a Mage and a Priest to an Archpriest. Lol both are nonexistant in the top 25. Hopefully I can change that. :D

The world probably won't end, the people will. Some little, insignifanct organism will survive, and evolve, just like we did.

I really wouldn't call it an era. It was more of a definitive time period during which dinstinctive characteristics were expressed in similar ways.

i think the sun will have a supernova so there will be no more natural light and people will just get lost without light and starve to death and die... :(

but i pray that doesnt happen

Our sun isn't a giant star. I'm pretty sure its a medium star, the can't have supernova's.

Maybe I'm wrong, we studied this several months ago.

Before the sun imploded, it would grow to about halfway between mars and earth's orbits. (i think thats where, but it probably won't be). However, this is expected to happen in about 5 billion years.

Exactly. Our world's chance of survival after 4.5 billion-ish years from now is 0%. :P We'll have to go elsewhere if we're even around by then. I hear Alpha Centauri is nice this time of year.

The popularity of any given religion today depends on the victories of the wars they fought in the past.
