June 15, 200620 yr I can imagine a few end of the world senario's. For instance : - Terrorists nuke America. A foolish president wants to retaliate and blames Iran. He tries to nuke them, they nuke America. Then other countries join in and the world dies. This is the one I am most scared of as it seems (to me) very possible when you look at recent events. (9/11, America invades two middle eastern countries). - World War III. I hope this will never happen as if it does, billions will die. The way things are with super powers America/ Europe/ China/ Russia, if one declares war then I think the others will pile due to alliences ect. Eg. America would (I hope) stick up for Europe and visa versa. There would be death and violence on every continent as they try to get the upper hand. This also seems likely to happen in the almost nearby future. - TB epidemic. Scientists have been predicting one for a while and if one does happen, it would devastate human beings everywhere, killing maybe half of all people. - Environmental issues. Global warming and the O-zone hole. These are two example of how humans are damaging the earth. We put out chemicals at disgusting rates and I think it is poisoning our planet. And people don't seem to care. Factories still pump their crap into rivers, everyone is still spraying aerosols, we produce billions of tonnes of un recyclable rubbish which gets dumped. I'm not sure how this is going to kill us but my spider senses tingle when I think of it. I could (and would) go on but I need to eat something so this will do (for now). June 15, 200620 yr Nuclear war. Although there aren't enough nuclear weapons to destroy Earth, there are enough to destroy the major populations and important industries. In a nuclear war, each side would be aiming at strategic and tactical points. The war could kill hundreds of millions of people. It wouldn't destroy the world but it would destroy the way we know the world. If any of you like reading, and want to read about a nuclear war, go buy the book "Level 7". It's a science fiction book and it's pretty short, but it's a good book about the end of the world.

You may think there is, but once you get there, when you're not looking, somebody'll sneak up and write "(bleep) you" right under your nose. Try it sometime. I think, even, if I ever die, and they stick me in a cemetery, and I have a tombstone and all, it'll say "Holden Caulfield" on it, and then what year I was born and what year I died, and then right under that it'll say "(bleep) you."

June 21, 200620 yr Solar Storm (CME Outburst) - Ability to overload electric appliances, including Cellphones, Computers, Electric Transformers, etc. Certainly will change our lives for a while Yellowstone Eruption - If looking at a VEI 8 Eruption Scale, 2/3 of the United States would be decimated by volcanic debris. Can cause a global cooling in climate if enough Sulfur and Carbon Dioxide emitted into the atmosphere reflect enough rays of light back into space. Nuclear War - If we're looking at every single country that are in possesion of Nuclear weapons firing at each other, it would devastate the environment and climate, and may affect electric appliances from EMP rays from the mushroom cloud of a nuclear explosion. Global Warming - In Debate as if we're actually the main cause of temperature rise, but we may be speeding it up much faster than naturally, which would give less time for species to adapt and survive. Can cause major ice areas to melt, less preciptation during summer and more during winter, destruction of ecosystems from over-development and floodings.
June 21, 200620 yr The world won't end, the creature's on it simply will cease to exsist. :P If you want to know how Earth itself will end, wait 4 billion years, it will be engulfed by the sun. But I'll be different and say it will end via "Spore"-esque (new video game by Will Wright, coming out this year, buy it!!) alien nuke.
