The only ore they know to smelt is copper+tin, so they expect something like iron+ore2 :-$ well i guess -.- Quest cape obtained at combat level 83, march 07. We can't make brass but that would be copper and zink. Stell is the other real alloy (in the game), iron + carbon = steel (coal is carbon).
