KCHughes
I kind of liked the RSC style of not having a Wilderness, just PK-able areas outside of towns. I wish I had actually been around for that. the russians are the best! Hands down!
Huzzah
I remember if you were fighting near the guards on the boarders of town they would attack you to break up the fight. :) I wasn't very fond of fatigue. 'X' options are quite nice for my wrist and fingers.

WolfhunterXZ
Cook x, Smelt 10, and Spin x flax are only bad for the old school players who have already clicked their way to carpal tunnel. hahaha so true.. So true.. :) Me being one of them know about this, I mean seriously, back before you would continue mining the ore until you got one, you had to click it over and over and over and over, rapidly! And cooking, had to click everything! Smelting too! It took TWICE as long and you got LESS of the item! (especially with coal, man, spending like 4 hours in mine, I got like 200 coal..) It's made things easier, faster, but prices are still fairly good, you just need maybe an extra 100 of the item instead of just 100. Not a big deal, because it's faster. It's still equal amounts, Instead of 100 of an item being so so amount, it's now double the item is the same amount, but with half the time. Worst update I'd say is canoes.. Could have been alot better.. Or is this a hint of ship building? Or sail your own ships wherever you want on the ocean instead of paying for a boat, so you can sale to any port? But yeah, canoes, it could be on more than just the River Lum. WolfhunterXZ
I kind of liked the RSC style of not having a Wilderness, just PK-able areas outside of towns. I wish I had actually been around for that. Sorry for the double post, but the entire PK'able areas was before my time even, and before many people even started playing RS (RSC). It was before the wilderness, but the wilderness goes with a story which we learn about as we dwell further into the God wars and whatnot. Wilderness has more than just the PKing. And the problem with being able to PK anywhere is you could be minding your own business and WAM you're pked, lose your items, it's really an idiotic idea. I have a friend (who long quit) who played RS during the first year of it or so when the PKing was everywhere, and there was only Falador, Lumbridge, Al-Kharid, and Varrock. And he said it was only good for the high levels because they could go own anyone because they could attack anywhere! Thanks, but I don't like wandering around, doing a quest and some high level comes and PKs me and I lose my stuff. the_blob23
I disagree with many people here. I personally didn't mind fatigue--you could get a guaranteed ore, and Jagex eventually refined the sleeping system. As for "Cook/Smelt/Etc. X", I think that's great. New players, do you hate mining? All that repetitive clicking? Without "Cook/Smelt/Etc. X" that's what EVERY RuneScape classic skill was like. I'm glad, too, that the holiday drops were made untradeable. Outrageous prices on items meant for no in-game purpose other than be pure fun are not in the spirit of the game. As for updates I don't like, the minor graphical updates, such as changing the "Close" button to a Windows-esque burnt orange "X" was annoying. What, are we reducing the in-game reading requirement to preschool level, now? Also, the restriction of classic to the point where you could fit the number of people playing it into a bathroom stall was a terrible move. It should at least be open to people who actually played classic, rather than the if-you-haven't-logged-in-in-the last-.0000002 seconds-you're-not-eligible mentality. I dislike random events immensely, as well. They obviously haven't stopped macroing as Jagex intended, and now most bots have methods that deal with random events. Plus, the rewards are meager. I simply don't want 4,376 uncut sapphires from the Mysterious Old Man. I'd have to say, overall, Jagex has made about 85% wise decisions and about 15% that could be classified as bad. firestrike
No fatigue was definatly no debate about it the worst update ever! I mean you had to have a slleping bag in your inventory and sllep on beds while mining coal it was so random it just took away from the game

mario_sunny
Other ones up high on my list are Wilderness and the ridiculous cook X or smelt X feature. What is the worst update to you? How is the X updates bad??? They help you so you don't have to keep on clicking that darn food. It really annoyed already high level cooks(like me :x ) that they spent all their time leveling up the hard way when a low level cook could just zip his way right past all those levels by clicking "cook all" and sitting there, watching his character do all the cooking for him. Lazy bumbs... And to the topic starter: what's your problem with the wilderness? just don't go in it if you don't like it silly! :P By popular demand, this signature is back- however I currently do not have a blog up at the moment and if I did I wouldn't update it. Sorry, the sig links to nowhere :( .
WolfhunterXZ
I hate how I can't play RSC anymore.. I had retired for about a year and (the 6 months) obviously was up for me.. I'm an RSC Veteran, I've had my account for 5 years. And of course I go to the RSC and says "Wolfhunterxz is not an RSC account" I'm like, YES IT IS! Bunny ears prove it.. Anyway, the new "exit" buttons aren't that horrible of a thing. Just wanted to add lol :) Wolfy is Officially Retired.I miss you all (Well, mostly my friends n stuff)If you want to talk to me, send me a message, I check the boards daily. :D
Invisionist
How is the X updates bad??? They help you so you don't have to keep on clicking that darn food. It makes buying skills that much easier. jorus2
Hm, well when they made it so you couldn't mine ores and it auto drops it if your invent is full, that made powermining easier, shame they got rid of it. I think it was changed with rs2, not too sure. Also fatigue was bad, but it got removed :) Oh, and the update that made the sandwich lady, and all the other useless randoms than no one likes 90 Combat 1900+ Total99 Crafting 99 Cooking 99 Firemaking99 Herblore 99 Fletching 98 Farming
