Erm i would have to say the nicest was my freind suokkis who gave me about 1 mill gp, a white p hat. 2 red masks. 1 green mask. 1 blue mask. A santa hat, and about 100 rune ores.

i received a party hat set on february 4th, 2002 from a friend as a birthday present. lol back then they were only 50k as a set or something? anyways i got hacked in 2004 but i always wore them as a token of appreciation when i saw him...he quit in 2003, and left me his estate of 14 party hats......none of which are for sale...god bless you majid.

The nicest thing somebody's done for me is probably not call me a noob :

Back in 02 and 03, I had a friend mxmungrel__2, probably one of the most generous players ever to play runescape.

 

 

 

Every 2 weeks or so he would turn up with a free set of rune or something for me :( I could never give him anything in return.

 

 

 

I'm sure some other players would remember his generosity... when he quit he gave many party hats and santa hats away to korskin, punk4ever, cazwise, oergg etc.

Well, I've never really been given anything...

 

 

 

I am sure there are nice people out there, but now my combat is 80+ people I am not quite the excellent recipient for freebies. But thats cool, I prefer giving things. I usually smith lots of items and craft ammies and go on give out raids. Its actually alot of fun.

The nicest thing someone have give me on Runescape was a friend of mine on Runescape who gave me 62 rune essences :) .

 

It was not so much, but for me it's more then enough :)

I haven't gotten anything to amazing from friends, generally just favours, and though I never do expect anything from them anyway.

 

 

 

Though I give to the deserving players of the game which don't beg etc. Which is the spirit in which the game should be played.

Defiently full mithril two years ago from a good friend of mine.

This one was me giving someone a good trade. I was up late playing and a guy was like buying rune plate, and I had a spare, so I traded with him, he put up 90k, keeping in mind it was late I accepted, Long story short he gave me 9k. :oops:

My friend gave me full black just because and he sold me his mith sword for half the price he bought it for.

I swear on my life the following story is true.

 

 

 

I'm at Catherby, where everyone is cooing over the resident 126, who has a blue party hat on. A lv34 shows up asking if she can borrow 500gp. She tells us how she was scammed of everything she owns and needs to buy a pickaxe so she can start getting it back.

 

 

 

Now, I'm sure she was telling the truth, not like the rest of those beggars.

 

 

 

The lv126 leaves the fishing spot to bank. She says to him

 

Her: ooh, nice hat.

 

126: thanks!

 

Her:...what is it?

 

126: blue party hat

 

Her: can I have it?

 

*many lols erupt from the beach*

 

126: well..

 

126: ok

 

 

 

And a moment later, it appeared on her head.

 

 

 

And I thought wow, that's one generous person.

Well me and B_50_2 wanted to clear our banks so we went out to world 7 Fally, Lumby, Varrock, and Edgeville and gave away a ton of stuff. I think that may be the reason I am always poor.

I've had two good trades. I've had someone give me blck legs and full helm with mith sq shield and mith sword for free. Another trade was getting 3 black sq shields a magic staff and mith sword for free.

lol the best thing any1 ever gave me was 2k. but i was only a lv like 3 and 2k was a ton to me. It was from a friend and thats how he talked me into playing runescape.
