Quests are faster exp then grinding anyway, I never Grinde except when i'm killing these level 25-26 Gold Elites that hit 10's on me. I sit there for an hour or two , goto the store and sell the stuff i got and find a nice new 30 gold peices in my inventory.I'm an undead priest, and I've beaten all the quests up to my level. I still have to grind a few more levels until I get to the point that I can solo the next quests. LMAO! PREIST!!! MAGES OWN ALL OF YOU!!!!1111!! S1ft + one Eleven!!! C) Shadow priests own 1 vs 1 pvp so bad that it's not even funny. :lol: i get what you are saying. as a WoW player boss monsters in the higher lvl instances such as molten core (MC) are difficult and require a lot of strategy and a pretty good sized raid maybe smaller if you have Tier 2 armor or AQ armor....but still. In Black Wing Lair (BWL) the bosses are extremely difficult to kill...even harder in AQ. some people might not understand what im saying...but if you play WoW, you'll know. it only takes like 3 people for KQ. so it isn't challenging really$10 says someone replies to this with "0mg tats nt hrd teh kq aet teh peplz caus she is gud" :lol: as a 60 gnome mage and a proud owner of an Enigma Circlet and full Netherwind (my Tier 2) i do have to say that WoW has a lot of strategy involved with it's gameplay. while RS doesn'tWhich is why WoW has sold over 5 million copies of the game alone, not counting people who paid for accounts online and downloaded the client from a friend. July 19, 200619 yr you have to have a strategy to solo all boss monster, and most of em, dont work the best. chaos elemential you can, but you have to trap him all the way around dag kings you can, but its hard to set up kq is extremely hard to solo, and most likely you wont finish it off jad can only be soloed, but it cost a lot of money for the set up kbd can be soloed, but that was released way back on slip up in your "solo" strategy, tho, and you could be dead... so i wouldnt say they are wimpy...plus...their drop rate is made to offset their easy-ness...what do you get when you kill that 'monster' in that game..guarunteed drop?...you could be stuck killing 1000's of these other boss monsters and not get what you want

They have a drop list like any monster. Granted, they do drop less items then the KQ for example, but a lot of people redo instances over and over to get the really elite items. :^_^: I drew that smilie, btw, along with a few more used by this site.Classic bloodveld for lyph3! [ no anti-aliasing ] you can turn on shadows water reflection textures and all that but i prefer to have everything on its lowest for less lag. Previously known as Monkeybeast0.
July 20, 200619 yr ok i thot it out a bit more there over dinner, the sorta thing i was thinkin off, is if u had a real mean monster that was in a way a mini game! As ur heading into the beast's den, theres 3 doors, one for ranged, one for melee and the other for mage. You need at least one person to go though each door for the game to start, then once u pick the door, u can only do attacks of that type, and there is somesort of restiction to make sure that say each type of fighters do at least say 1/4 of the overall damage. It would attack some way similar to the KQ where it atacks randomly wit all 3 types of attack, and can hit multiple ppl, but if postioned right wont hit every1 all the time. Small details to iron out, but thats the basics of what i think rs needs in the way of big bosses! And of course for all this trouble the rewards would have to be huge, say like a dragon kite perhaps? so i was bored and thinking the same way, having a mini-game style boss but have the reward based on how u play, so theres less chance of getting tricked out of a share of a drop have it where u earn points, like 1 for every 100hp u do per fight (assuming the boss has like 2k+ hp, or it can heal itself) then out side theres a guy selling caskets for different points 1, 10, 100 each casket has the same drops, only the 100pnt one has a much higher chance of the rare drop this will allow for every1 involve to get a share of the loot, because everyone can earn points

I just snared him and use earth blast and didnt eat once. in fact, i needed to eat something in order to pick the shadow diamond from the ground. :roll: Darn the Silkroad crap. i cant believe my friend plays that... YOU DONT EVEN LOSE ANYTHING IF U DIE!! Ahh well i went toe to toe with him, and found him hard as hell.... 7 months ago, shoulen m0nk lured me for everything. If you know anything about him, pm me.lol that was a good story but his eyesight must be poor... it's a well known fact that mods only drop garages on players. :lol:

The thing is when you kill a "Boss" monster or also known as "Gold Elites" you are practiclly garreteed to get a very rare item, good amount of money, or a nice item that could sell high. The amount of items one monster can drop is almost endless (except things like bears or sheep or those small [cabbage]y dragons which drop meat, a wing, and can be schneideried)

Try solo'ing the Dag kings? Only has been done by Oddfaery as far as I know. LOL! Oddfaery2 isn't the only one visiting kings okay? Yep, all RS2 monsters are easy.

July 20, 200619 yr Your comparing a java based game to silkroad, the reason why rs won't have these kinds of monsters is because the combat system is just too simple but thats wat makes rs great, u can train a whole verity of skills whereas silkroad is just plain combat which does get boring. WoW does own silkroad but its free so its the best in my book 8-) and the reason it takes long to lvl is because sr is grind based like most korean games.

July 20, 200619 yr I know it's already been said it's not WoW and that Blizzard (the WoW people) own it (or something).....they could have made it look a bit different lol. But a monster that size on RS would be.......interesting but I wouldn't say no to an extravagant looking-very powerful-can only be teamed kind of monster (maybe not if that size)
