Come to think of it, RS is indeed like the Matrix! You can interact with people and objects, yet they're not real. You can do what you can't do in real life (ie: cast spells), but it is bound by the laws of the Matrix (ie: how RS is programmed).

I would try to pick up a cannon. I don't know how they could do that. I'd also pick up 5 cannons (4 slots each) and wear full armour. You know what would be fun is stealing Party Pete's phat or go up to smeone who calls you a noob and steal their phat and/or other item.
