OH wait, then POT, jesus, 30+ That can't be real... This update is BUFF man. Give you 3 days 'till jagex nerfs it. Why? Rangers can finally hit high too. Exactly. Melees can hit 30+s potted with whip, an incredibly common weapon, rangers can now do the same, with hard to get bolts.

I'm intrested too, as i'm already in my head with debts there is no way I can switch from cbows but I'd hate for it to be easier now that i'm getting mine tonight (hopefully?) its already easy. :shame: this will just make firecapes super common, instead of one in few. Of course being level 110 makes most things "easy". I really hope it doesn't.. Current Goal: Fire Cape, 0-6 at the caves 0-3 agianst the Jad, Lag done me in.

No one complains? Go read the official forums. I wasn't interested in that, I just want to know if this would grant new and perhaps easier tactics for beating Jad. July 31, 200619 yr Range is already a strong wildy skill - mages get a skilling update and rangers get to hit 30+? I doubt even jagex would be that unfair. The max hit of the new x bows will be pretty similar to the c bow i should imagine.
July 31, 200619 yr I see new possibilities for high level range staking and a possible rise of crystal key and dragonstone prices. A CHANCE TO HIT YOUR OPPONENT WITH A FIREBREATH????! If those crossbows really hit that high, that can add up to like 60+ damage -in 1 hit. I hope they add some more useful agility shortcuts, instead of a shortcut away from a water obelisk -.- . July 31, 200619 yr if you can only make 5 bolts out of 1 d stone...and the chance of hitting it is random like guthans for healing...then it will be a complete waste of time. Just dharoking will be much cheaper and easier.

July 31, 200619 yr 2 01 GMT, they are updating again, probably some little fixes. The new bows seem just the right power for rangers, dueto the lack of specials. The magic, hp, and pray drain are going to own the wildy, but just remember how freakishly expensive the ammo will be. I think we are looking at the 2nd generation Throwing Rings
