World 99--The Bowstring Company. Next Event on Friday!

Anyways, I just posted this on the official forums to get some more popularity, so the opening won't be a complete and total failure. What embarassed me, however, was the fact that I forgot the name of the "Table of Contents". I've been on Summer Vacation too long. :wall:

And the kicker is that I'm going into 12th grade in a couple of weeks...

If things don't work out, it will be because you don't have enough runners.

In that case, you could do like the Law Company of W66 does, and have no profit for the crafters.

So crafters would have a lot of noted flax in their inventory, and runners come with an initial 27 flax, trade the crafter, the crafter gives 27 bowstrings and 27 noted flax, and the runner goes back to the bank to repeat.

That might even out the crafters and runners, because there'd be slightly less crafters, and a lot more runners that want free bowstrings.

You're not quite thinking straight :P The unnoted strings are traded for the unnoted flax, giving the flax pickers a profit instantly. When the crafters finish crafting they'll have another load all ready.

Alright! I made a more exact time frame for you guys with tight schedules. The event will be going on for about 7 hours, so I hope most of you guys will be able to make at leastg a part of it!

The exact date:

Saturday, August 12, 3:00 - 10:00 P.M. Eastern Time (GMT-4)!

EDIT: I added a quick find code for my thread on the official forums. It's located at the top of my first post, so check it out. 8-)

I'll be there. I think this will be a good way to get a little closer to my goal for 80 crafting. I hate picking flax ever since they changed it to being random number from each plant. I liked it when it was infinite from one plant...those were the days!

Very good idea!

Yeah, these types of companies really only work when the item in question requires a high skill level to make that many people don't have (Laws lv54).

Unfortunately there is a very strong exception to that statement. Air company is very successful and yet it requires lv 1 Runecrafting to make. Granted it does take a bit of leveling to get decent amount of airs per ess.

Yeah, if you dont mind moving another company out of W99, that would be great. It is hard enough to get in at peak times and if this is something great, I dont want to know what would happen. For all of those that use W99 as a tip home world, please do not make it as the home world for bow stringing.

A reflection is just a distorted reality held by glass and your mind.

i don't think its that they want free nbowstrings...i think its that they want cheap bowstrings/a profit which this method would do...if you think about it...
