I can face directly north in the runescape world, but on the mini map, I'm still facing like barely north east or northwest. I wish they'd actually align them. Nazgul740 Posted August 25, 2006 Share Posted August 25, 2006 Meh its bugged me a ton how that danged compass won't face the right direction! so annoying i tell ya! :x personnally whenever i am doing something that only requires 20% of my brain i focus on the exact amount of pressure i have to exerte on a key to get it to move where i want... so far i have x=(kx + R)^8 with x being the amount moved k being pressuire x being waffles R being the rate of pressure and to the eight power just for the heck of it! dargonhuman Posted August 25, 2006 Share Posted August 25, 2006 Getting it to face north isn't that difficult, but getting the compass and the map aligned is a lot harder. Getting the compass, map and game screen all aligned is dang near a miracle. As for the map/screen being misaligned, I think that was on purpose as another ineffective anti-autoer thing; I remember when I first started in RSC, the map and the screen were always perfectly aligned, then the autoers started invading en masse, and so Jagex decided to break their alignment. It worked about as well back then as it does today, meaning it didn't. Part of the Star Traks network. (^^Clicky!) Irony: An amnesiac rediscovering they have an eidetic memory.
